Hey look its a guy who actually uses SLI talking about SLI, one of the rarest beings on the internet. I have used SLI for the past 2 years to max out or very nearly max out EVERY SINGLE major title that I wanted to (and I play a lot of games) @4k 60fps. There simply is no single card that can do this once we're at a certain level of graphical fidelity. If you don't game @ 4k or more you probably don't need SLI, but personally I can never go back, the difference is massive. The Outer Worlds is actually the first game I have seen with this artificial "Turing only" SLI limitation. Trust me when I tell you it is in no way a technical issue that can't be worked around, it is simply what Nvidia has oddly decided to provide. The community will most likely have to find a workaround if Nvidia prefers to pretend that it will only work with Turing.
