That's up to the devs as well as this is an issue with JC3's GI implementation.
odd how the flicker is gone if you use the 373.06 drivers, so it seems like its something NVidia changed. I doubt the game will see another patch.
I hope Nvidia released a good drivers this time.
exactly, the problem doesn't exist with the 373.06 release, so it's nvidia related, not the game.
These are ok again in Rift.
I returned to 375.70 two days ago and these now act the same.
.76 .86 .95 all had streaming hickups.
Although its still a bit cpu bound by very high character count 20+, can have 45-50fps drops.. game engine has come a far way, but now i have the feeling its a mix of both driver overhead and dx9api game engine.
Huh?? It's working I didn't change ****.
All the people who are flying with P3D have noticed the same issue since the news drivers published arround the 373.06.
I guess too something has be changed by nvidia...
Could you point me to a video showing the flickering that you have? We may be talking about different things.
Flicker on contrails in P3D caused by driver.
Watch in full screen to see contrail flicker-
Looks realistic as if it is air flow coming from the plane :nerd:
No, should be solid stream with no flicker. Nvidia get your **** together.
Getting around 90fps on ultra settings with a single GTX1070 on 3440x1440 with Planet Coaster. Why would you need SLI?
Not my video, but I have the same thing, as do many others
The Watch Dogs 2 sli profile is a joke.
And was really hoping that the new drivers would fix the BF1 flickering.
Yeah, this is a different issue.
Joke uh? I will try it tonight and see how it goes. I assume both Nvidia and Ubisoft (Montreal) will make updates/improvements in -near- future..
After installing driver 376.09 the Load screen of Shadow Warrior 2 is black and crash to desktop.
It does nothing, Puts both cards to 99% but has zero improvement.
Is that in a new park or a fully loaded one, because with my overclocked 1070 at 1080p I can easily dip below 60FPS in something as simple as that Harry Potter park from the Steam workshop with ZERO guests. I basically have to turn off shadows and water reflections in order to achieve it, because I'm pretty sure those are the only two demanding settings relevant to the GPU. The game seems to be more CPU intensive anyway, (which makes sense considering) as my 3770 @ 4.5GHz was completely maxed out without hyperthreading and even with it on it was around 75% utilization. Is there really just that much of a difference between 3rd and 6th gen Intel or am I missing something?
I hope not, I want to run this 4th gen for at least 2 maybe 3 more years. I like to do 5 year runs on a CPU. I got 5 years out of my first Gen. Still have it running as a backup PC for the kids to game on paired with a 7990.
