There you are
Modded inf for Win 7/8 x64
Agreed. So annoying.
amen amen agreed
There was a guy on another forum made a post with a big red warning about a set of drivers a couple months back
WARNING there are reports of these drivers frying GPUs, DO NOT INSTALL
Drivers had been released about 10 minutes prior to his post, no reports of frying anything, and he hadn't even downloaded them himself
In the end he backtracked and said he was talking about the previous drivers with the express install bug, but the warning still stood because it's highly likely these would be the same
Can't fix troll
Wrong thread, Apologies.
They don't know how gpus work. They think that drivers are supposed to increase their performance more and more because **** logic. I'm also convinced they're just trolls, as I refuse to believe that a pc enthusiast can be that retarded.
Hey i just bought a 1080 GTX Founder Edition! And after some Benching i can see that GTX 980 SLI Preforms almost the same as the new 1080 in many games, Some Fps more or less in Certain games like Witcher III. The fps are around the lower 30's at 4k all at ultra on 980 SLI and 1080!.. And GTA V at 4k all at max whit No AA, FPS are around the 70's in city areas. And lower 40's at the grass area!.. SO.. what way to go return the 1080 back to store and stick whit 980 SLI and be happy that i saved $800?
single card> sli
i going from 980 SLI to a 1080 GTX Singel!..but i start to think i thrown the money down the drain!.. no doubt 1080 it's a powerful card but right now it feels like there is not much difference between a singel 1080GTX and 980SLI
here is what i talking about!..
If you're not satisfied with performance then return it or sell it and wait for GP102.
Okay... Well in the best case scenario for your 980s they will match the 1080. In all other cases the 1080 will be better. It has double the available VRAM, and much higher bandwidth than 980.
I think it's a solid upgrade, but then again i would never go for multigpu, if you want something to outperform 980s in SLI by a large margin even at 100% scaling then yes you need to wait for the big boys
okay! i have struggle a lot whit the 980 SLI Temps and overclocks ect.. So the main reason i maid this update is to get rid of SLI Problems it's just a pain in the ass for me!.. Sure it is a hell of a beast when everything works well!.. i will do more testings and give the 1080 some couple of drivers and see what the road leads me!
Like I said to the other guy, 2.5GHz @ 50% fan speed or GTFO
the heat is a problem now in summer time!
And the fan cuvre i had on my 980 SLI was Crazy and at full load 1th card jumping back and forth 79c 80c and the 2th card stays at 65c
game and driver bad use 2 GPU 2th card using 20% your gpu lol
I'm joking man, the damned things run at 2ghz, that's nothing to sneeze at, and all the people complaining that it doesn't OC enough are just fooling around. How much it OCs just depends on how conservatively it's clocked.
Out of interest though, why did you get the nvidia blower fan one ?
can somebody upload a modded inf for 900 series. btw i have 970
GTX 1080 is basically in a place where it's 'too good' for 1080/1440 and 'still not quite there' for 4K. You should return it if you're more happy with your SLI config and wait to see how the eventual Ti version performs.
It all started when nvidia gimped my GeForce2 for the FX series.
