More like his OS needs to be reinstalled.

No, DSR Smoothness works further only via Display-Settings of Windows 10, still an open Driver-Issue.

Just played Quake4 MP a bit and for me it crashes on map change lol, last time I played it was still on Win10 10240 and some older driver so idk atm is it this driver or not..

And FEAR1 is another game that has oversized mouse cursor with DSR, dunno but it looks wrong.

Last W10 Drivers ( exactly since 353.62) still ignore DSR Smoothness settings at Desktop when DSR-Resolution is applied in nvidia control panel only, while it works as intended, when DSR-Resolution is applied at Windows own Advanced Display-Settings.

To evaluate on these settings, I've noticed it does not make any difference (micro-stutters still present), so I disable SLI and it runs much, much better on a single GPU, but still not perfect.
The framerate is stable on 30fps though.

Also changing from FXAA Medium to TAA (I believe that how it’s named) runs very smooth on a single GPU, but the Image is not that crisp/sharp anymore (makes sense)

Will enable SLI again and play on TAA for a bit, but I start do believe FXAA might be the culprit.

edit: Having FXAA enabled does not cause to stutter in most, if not all, the games i play (i.e. DA Inquisition, Titanfall, etc.) but only in SW Battlefront, although I haven’t played any other games but SWB so far, so still need to check if this "bug" isn't introduced with the driver or if it's a "bug" in SWB.

The "oversizing" of the cursor is how Windows is reacting to running it in ultra high resolution I think. If a game is using the system cursor and not its own then this will happen in DSR.

All those games were using their own hw cursor.. older drivers didnt have it so oversized and pixelated

I think I'll go back to 358.87 anyway.. They felt smoother overall. Less screen tearing by vsync off.

@ RamsesII - If it runs better on one gpu, most likely it's the game then.

I was joking about his hardware obviously, however, a windows reinstall just might help.

Correct. Did you mean a different Issue related to DSR-smoothness?

Looks like I deleted 385.87, so I returned to 358.91 and Quake4 didnt crash by map change..
