Did you try with Aero disabled? (CMD: net stop UxSms)

Seems slightly better than 261.00, but still nowhere near what it should be with bfbc2.

So they still stutter in Video on some GFX Cards?

If so then i think there will be never be a good 260 driver again for my 2x
Geforce GTX 460 1GB, with all the 260 Drivers i have stutters, and no problems
    with 258 and 259 drivers:bang:

lmao :bang: nvidia is really a big JOKE with 260.xx series, seriously wdf are they thinking.. same pos as with any 260.xx driver.

and dirt2 is still having that slowdown issue like with any 260.xx. im going back to 258.96.

Still using a much older generation here (8800GT + XP 32 bit) and these drivers are giving me significantly better performance than 260.99 and more stable OC too....

    Very nice.

    EDIT:
NEVERMIND. I'm getting weird never-before-seen artifacting in ME2. Time to go back to 260.99... :bang:

I can't install those, whether on both of my win7 64 or 32bit versions, with no ideas why.
It just tells me that it is impossible...

No reported issues on previous drivers beta's or whql's. None of you reported such an issue so i don't expect for much sadly

both of my OSe's are legal and activated, which makes me think, as i have a G80 plugged (for PhysX) that THIS 'could be an issue.

i had the 260.99whql lately and so i tried this install with different combinations:

1/ install without clean install/with it, without DrivrSweeper/CCleaner
2/ install without clean install/with it, including DriverSweeper/CCleaner in this order.

So if anyone has an idea or feedback i'd be thankfull to him

No issues with Video playback here. Although i do not use any "special" codecs or renderer. Only MPC, Haali and FFDShow and some shaders.

Funny thing is I can stick in my HD 6870 and have a smoother experience with BFBC2 than what I have with my Overclocked GTX 480. I see myself holding out for the HD 6970.

You need a modified inf since these are for 580 only. Look at first page.

Driver cleaners are a joke. They break more than they fix.

+1 I have probably switched between Nvidia and ATI on the same window install 15+ times and always use drivercleaner. Never an issue.

    I don't think it's the drivers :)

Have you done the tweaks to avoid lag/stuttering?

Done some gaming with these drivers now. The gameplay feels smoother than with any of the drivers from the 260 series( now coming from 260.99). This driver gives me supersmooth gameplay in Mafia 2, all settings maxed. That didn't happen for me before using previous drivers. Also, Fallout New Vegas somewhat feels smoother. No more random stutter or slowdowns. Don't know if there are some new vegas fixes included in this driver..

It may be just placebo, but I'm sure the IQ is better with these than with 260.99.

Keepers for me, Thank you NVIDIA:banana:
