well not sure why it won't work with my set up I refuse to go out and buy another NVIDIA it looks as though I might have to just go ATI next buy as it works with no problems with Falcon AF, ff5.55, I can not seem to use anything above 258.96. for my set up.

    Thanks m8
    Edit: it worked!
Edit2: Just benched these drivers in Dirt2
Every setting on max 1680x1050 8xmsaa vsync->on while running smp F@H client in the back ground
    avg 60.3fps
    min 52.1fps
I did crush twice but I think it just bad OC on my CPU. I will post some comparison results when I get to work in a few.
Hunter, I do not get any slowdowns in the bench test at least. Throughout the entire race I was on the vsync limiter. Slowdowns were at the beginning and after the race and it is more than likely CPU related.
    Edit3: With 197.45 and 257.15 (I haven't bench drivers for a while lol:3eyes:) I got
    avg 48fps
    min 39fps
but I am not sure about the settings and I think these were done in XP. I am currently running 7 64bit. These actually might have been done with an Athlon X2.

I have the same problem, same graphics card. Disabling SLI fixes tearing, but when SLI is disabled the new water doesn't work when using WoW's DX11 engine.

Annoyingly, I can't figure out what the latest drivers were to not have this problem. Does anyone know?

its not that bad it only stutters in the 2nd 3d flash - its when it shows the cars

    min 45; avg 77fps

its ok if i rerun the test then its min 63; avg 77fps but that's not the point..they've broke something since they optimized it for 460gtx and its doing what's doing, ever since 260.xx

it works fine with older driver (258.96) no matter which run and sometimes it doesn't hang on exit.

Still the same crap like any other 26x.xx driver. Can't adjust my second monitor to the correct resolution. Even on my main monitor it will set 1280x1024. UltraMon seems helpless changing anything. Damn. I gave up and back to 258.96

Installed Driver Sweeper 2.6 twice and "About" always tells me it's 2.5. Nice work, like nVidia

Edit: OK, seems to be a mistake only in "About"

Mine says 2.6 in the title bar, 2.5 in 'about.'

Ok, then. I did noticed the same thing but since it is outside of the gameplay I do not mind it.
BTW what do you have your shader clock at? I seemed to be running same core/mem as you.
What settings are you using for AA?

    Sweet mother of God.

This driver fixed my Fallout 3/NV sky stutter thing I've been having back since FO3 released. With the only exception of 18x.xx drivers fixing it.

Shame I still have to use the alternative DX9 library for NV though, otherwise I have another kind of stutter going on.

its at 1890mhz i can go up to 772mhz (real 774) before it switches to 1944mhz; well i get artifacts or crashes in some games if i use 1944mhz @792mhz.. i can use 1890mhz unlocked core 787-792mhz to stay ok and mem up to 1205mhz..

yea im using 4xaa and forced 16xaf in nvcpl dirt2 profile., with few custom tweaked settings for "better image quality..

rest ingame is maxed, excpet mirrors on high and crowd on high.

Myabe I should have included a little more detail/background. Neither of my monitors can natively scale with a fixed-aspect ratio. So in order to run 4:3, or whatever, I use nvidia's scaling with fixed-aspect ratio. It's pretty much always worked. In 260.63, the options for this seem to have gone away, unless it was hiding on the second monitor. I just happened to notice it "come back" when I clicked on the second monitor after installing 260.99. I guess my question was if anyone noticed that the options are different between monitor one and monitor two. If you only have one, how would you get to the scaling options?

On a side note, these were running FFXIV great last night.
