If you have Mass Effect 1, can you test it too?

alt tab is indeed improved in wow @ fullscreen mode, its instant and no flashes like every 250+(?)

it created other problems, fullscreen windowed is now desynched with massive tearing in mid screen (vent osd dosnt work fullscreenmode)

also after stoning to dala my fps was at 10-12 untill i alt tabbed, prolly didnt load proper clocks there

about to see temps, but they didnt look as high as with 260.93dev drivers

frames skipping doing instance, had gpu-z x2 on not sure if it was that

edit: back to 260.61 dev and all seems fine, even alt tab
edit2: tearing in windowed is still there

sure didnt take long for a new whql set to appear, i'll bite. hopefully the anti-aliasing compatibility issue for BC2 and MOH is sorted so i don't have to keep adding the comaptibility bits string through nv inspector all the time .. kinda petty i know, but its a pain ;)

He was talking about F1, not Dirt2.

Dirt2 seems to work fine for most people though, even on my old GTX260 its ok.

Nice, starting to come more regular now. Nvidia must have taken a laxative.

Seems that time messing about with AA in New Vegas last night was a waste :)

Hope I can now alt-tab in Gothic 4 without a crash too

I must say that this is probably the best overall driver I've found/used for my system yet. It performs great, fixed some issues with games I run, and is very stable unlike most of the newer drivers have been for me.

    Thanks for sharing!

    fine fine, yea right...

its not fine if there some issues like sudden stutters (wasn't here with any 258 or 259 driver) or sometimes it hangs on exit.

If that's fine for you, then you need some help:bang:

anyway i reported this over at nvidia driver customer experience...

Dirt 2 often hangs or crashes on start up for me too, performance is not an issue, stability is. But that's not a driver problem...the game needs a patch.

This was with the 260.89 WHQL, and was only back on the old card for a few hours while someone was using my GTX460 for a SLI experiment, but had no issues with it using Ultra, 8xAA and VSync'd to 50hz with triple buffering via d3doverider.

Not the best performance ever, about 30-40fps, but no hitching or stutters, most of my crashing issues were solved by disabling Rapture, or the Asus EAX emulation.

You use a completely different resolution to me, so its likely to be very different results.

New vegas (without d3d9.dll) runs definitely smoother with this driver.
