Scratch what I said. BC2 running super smooth with these. Must have been some other weird factor as I mentioned.

Like all the previous versions of drivers I've tested, BC2 works flawlessly.

I don't really know how all of you manage to have that kind of issues with drivers. I haven't had any since mi first Nvidia Riva TNT.

Wow, i just bought pripyat and this driver ensures up to 14% more performance with the EXACT settings i use... Never had that before lol. But im at school :(
So ill install once i get home.

EDIT: Damn its good. I got 15 more fps around the skadovsk and it never goes below 40 now with everything maxed including AA and HDAO. GPU usage also stays over 90% now.

BFBC2's gpu utilization at renderaheadlimit=2 has been fixed and there is no more stuttering. But one thing is weird as it tries to force Ambient Occlusion on some profiles in the NVCPL that dont normally have them (even gears of war lol).

anyone know the proper PCI ID(hex) for the 465 470 and 480 ? I would like to try to enter these into the modes.txt and see if it corrects the installation of the Nvidia Control Panel

looks like they finally fixed those nasty spikes in FFXIV benchmark , almost none just like with old 19x.xx series; those leaked 260.52 still had allot..

    @ biohazard you mean these?

Failed to install ,maybe the modes.txt has nothing to do with the control panel installer but it does make one wonder .

I wonder if it's possible do do it this way?:

    *Install driver.
    *Service running.
    *Configure NVCPL settings.
    *Kill service.
    *Settings are saved.

It's not like i need to open NVCPL that often.I just hope settings are applied ingame if that service is not running...

They suck, screw this nvidia, i lost 12 fps in Drit2 lowest fps area.. Unigine heaven 2.0 was about the same but a little slower than 259.32 or 258.96. They fixed FFXIV and broke the rest, nice job!

    old driver 259.53
    this one:
same settings as before, in runs $hit be it triple buffer or threaded optimization on..doesn't help anything like before.

To bad i already voted that they're better than 258.96, i take that back.

Im getting rid of this crap, bye.

i think thats working. I just set and killed it and it's saved.

So everytime i need to go in the cp i need to enable the nvidia driver helper service 1st, pretty lame ;)

But i dunno whats it like with the profiles for each game if you set some..

Will the stuttering in Fallout 3 ever be fixed, madness that you have to run driver version 18x.xx to be able to play the game with all the options set?
