    ???

    Absolutely best drivers so far.
You must have other issues with your hardware configuration and/or other installed software incopatibility.

Well, with 260.63 beta drivers I got improved fps in Metro, Crysis, Mafia2, and higher scores in couple of benchmarks. Everything runs smooth with improved IQ.
In addition I easily overclocked gtx 480 @ 938/1876/2100 with voltage under 1.2V.
Rock stable, no crashes or freeze.

I use one of these over the pci express slots to vent out some of the heat:

try pushing your card to the max that it can on 258.96 then try those same clocks on 260.63 with same voltage lets see if its still stable ;> likely not.......
anyway not everyone watercools their card etc.....
altough i do love to watercool my gtx 480 i dont have money to do that yet.

how is this driver performing with 200 series? i know 256 drivers are designed for fermi cards but any1 tried on 200 series? is it better than 197.45? and does this driver fix the aspect ratio problem,
where i can enable the "no scaling" option?

your using 260 betas? what happens is during the startup soon as welcome screen comes. boom blue screen. it does not happen always. it seems it happens when i install x-fi drivers. i hope this is fixed in the next release

it might only be a 400 series issue. which i hope is fixable. i still have time to RMA it.

but i am debating on weather or not to give them a chance to get the kinks worked out?
