    here are some infos for the Upcoming 260 series Driver..

    taken from Computer Base.(Germany) They also made a lot of Benchmarks...starting here:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The GeForce 260.52 arises as already mentioned the beta stage and therefore waived on a WHQL certified. Completed the software on 1 September 2010 and is still quite fresh. The driver is for Windows Vista and Windows 7 in a 32-bit and 64-bit version, and it guaranteed with the final version will just be a Windows XP-based offshoots. The PhysX software is updated at the driver to version 9.10.0514, the HDMI driver to version 1.1.7.0.

    The GeForce 260.52 are away from the steady performance improvements some modifications. Most notable is a new installer that allows for greater flexibility. During installation, the user has the choice between a standard Express installation (all included Nvidia software is installed) and a new custom option. In each of these elements as the actual graphics, 3D vision, the HDMI driver and the PhysX software separately to be selected or deselected. In addition, the currently installed version to be compared with that of the driver package.

    A new switch named "make reinstall" should ensure that all the settings and profiles will be deleted. If this is not desired, the option can be disabled. That should the customer be able to remove all remnants of previous driver versions.

    Less obvious, however a small improvement of "Surround", ie the operation of three monitors at the same time. So in the software's configuration options are overworked, so some settings to quickly go out of hand.

    The 3D Vision from the GeForce 260.52 driver is always installed, regardless of whether a 3D-capable monitor has been found or not. Thus, a further installation of the 3D-Vision driver is unnecessary. At the same time, there are some new or modified 3D profiles. Among other things, Mafia 2, StarCraft 2, and Trine they are changed.

    The software playback of a 3D Blu-ray no longer on the GF100-GPU (or older) is limited, but is now just one GeForce GTX 460 and GeForce GTX 450 accelerate Blu-ray of the third dimension. See all matching features like the ability to bitstream the HD sound formats are well implemented.

    In the performance of Nvidia GeForce 260.52 at the shot again a little. Apparently, certain selected games between seven and 29 percent run faster, although this is true especially for the GeForce GTX 460th However, should the other GeForce GTX 400-subjects can benefit from it.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Performance improvements with the GeForce 260.52

    * Starcraft 2 SLI - 19 percent
    * Crysis Warhead SLI (DX10) - 12 percent
    * Far Cry 2 (DX10) - 13 percent
    * H.A.W.X. SLI (DX10) - 12 percent
    * 3DMark Vantage Performance Preset SLI - 9 percent
    * Alien vs. Predator DX11 - 9 percent
    * Alien vs. Predator SLI (DX11) - 7 percent
    * Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (DX11) - 15 percent
    * Colin McRae Dirt 2 (DX11) - 11 percent
    * Metro 2033 (DX11) - 7 percent
    * Stalker - Call of Pripyat (DX11) - 12 percent
    * Stalker - Call of Pripyat SLI (DX11) - 11 percent
    * Riddick: Dark Athena - 22 percent
    * Riddick: Dark Athena SLI - 29 percent

    There is no official release notes, since it is a pre-diversified "Press-driver". The expected official release on the evening of today will clarify this point.

    That's strange. I've never heard of "Stalker - A Twist of Fate".

    It sounds more like they are reviewing the Leaked beta which I have heard is different from the beta that will be released.

    i have been reading about ppl having low usage on gpu when they play bfbc2.
    i have that crap with evry game. But i solved it!
    When u start ure pc run the game immediately!
    and u will have 90% + gpu usage!!!!
    i think if u turn on ure pc and leave it there i think the videocards go to sleep. and they dont wake up when u start playing games after like 10 min after u turned ure pc on!
    well this fixed low gpu usage so yeah;)

    Mass Effect 2 kept on crashing with these drivers on Illium level. Uninstalled and re-installed 258.96WHQL and the game stopped crashing. Problem solved. Only trouble is, colors now look a little more pastalised and greyed out with the elder 258.96 driver. The 260 driver had better IQ but it crashed my game :(

    I had these drivers installed and Starcraft 2 flickered really really badly. They were definently not ready for Tripple SLI support.

    I was wondering what program you were using for this OSD information? Have for long been looking for a program that can display GPU AND CPU temperature at the same time.

    msi afterburner does not have cpu usage and ram usage in OSD. but riva and aida64 have this option. and riva doesn't run with newest cards. so aida64+afterburner= OK
