So dual cards are only gimmicky, there's no real performance advantage? Good to know.:biggun:
one card 70fps, two cards 80fps? You pay double for 14% difference? Bad choice.:wanker::stewpid:

I had the same problem with TI_4200 tv out, the problem was with ntsc format, I choose pal-n format in the video card and problem solved. My tv accepts both formats but ntsc doesn't work in the video card, try changing the format output and see if it works.

You've got bad eyes. Nearly a 50% increase in the avg frame rate for games that support SLI. Looks like you shot your own foot.

It would appear that W@W does not like SLi. Which is weird because per Toms chart, COD4 shows a good 50% gain with SLi, which is pretty much the same engine as COD5. Guru3d's review of W@W shows a single 280=51 fps and 280SLi=78fps. Maybe the issue is with my benching method. Since there is no 3rd party bench program for this game, I just keped playing the same section of the game using fraps as my test.

The version.txt file states I am using version 1.1 which is said to boost SLi performance. Yet I wanted to test that statement so I benched the game via the same method and showed no FPS gain between the no patched version and the 1.1 patched version. Will also download 1.2 for the first time and bench that patch also.

    ***UPDATE**
Reinstalled patch 1.1 and installed 1.2 and still getting same FPS.

This is a known CS4 problem, has nothing to do with the 182.06 driver. I've already posted the solution to this in another thread.

I even uninstalled the game, ensured program folder was removed, reinstalled and patched with 1.2 that also contains 1.1 and still same SLi FPS results.

hmmm, i wonder what the hey is wrong. your system is superior to mine in everyway yet i can run COD4 and 5 at 1600x1200 4xAA 16xAF with no less than 40-45 fps, and that doesnt happen offen. cod4 stays maily at 75 fps. i have it vsyn'ed at 75hz. cod5 is a little harder on my machine because of map size but it mainly stays at 65-75 fps with a low of 45. wish i could help.

this driver rocks, it cured my problems with UT3, which simply would not run. i was sitting pat with 180.84 driver since it came out and just didnt want to try anythig else. I read up on posts as new drivers came out and waited for real contender. This is the one that will work. it plays everythinf i have Fallout 3 ,W@W cod, Arma (not with SLI enabled i mean who would believe that OFP would run in SLI but its stepchild ARMA wouldnt?)GT Legends GTR, everything is peachy.

This driver is bad for me. This driver never ever clocks up to 3D mode (640mhz)
its always stuck in 300mhz no matter what .Too sluggish for me.
(Did a clean reinstall of drivers.)
Also Photoshop CS 4 no support.

Im back on the good 181.22 WHQL and it kicks ass again. Full speed.
everything works as it should with 181.22

Win XP PRO 32/ GTX 280 / Nvidia 790i Ultra SLI
