if this has issues with DV, then might not get it >_>
DV has been my best friend since 5900XT XD
You must not have been around here that long (nothing wrong with that). If you had, you would've known that nvidia release or leak WHQL-signed beta drivers all the time. Possibly because getting drivers approved from Microsoft takes quite some time, and if the driver turns out to be polished enough for public release, they want to be able to release it as fast as possible. However, if you use a modified inf-file with a WHQL driver it will not be detected as WHQL anymore because modding the file changes the checksum.
i cant believe any of you even use these 177.98 after all the crap i have read about them...
i install every beta driver there is but when i read about how crappy these are i never even attempted it.
Same here. I'll wait for the next ones.
Guys what are these drivers like with the 8800GTX any good? Im still using Xtreme G 175.63 but i think a upgrade is in order so which are decent for the 8800GTX at the momment?
Looks a decent community here by the way
Nismo, leave this release on the web. Either get the 177.92 or wait out for the next one.
maybe your a little behind the times?

IE7 - 26.0% Aug 08
i DL, the 98's and the dv seemed to be fixed but they freeze up and my comp locks up pitty hopefully the next set will be better. for now the 92's are working pretty good for now
I'm on the 178.92's currently but I'm going to try these drivers to see how they do with Crysis Warhead which is a great game but buggy as all get out, crashes much much more than Crysis itself ever did.
On another note, I've always wondered about this Digital Vibrance, what is it and why should I care? On mine, it's always at 0%, I've never played with it but I've seen much weeping and gnashing of teeth over it...
Governator, it automatically enables at about the second boot and sets itself to 100%. Plus the DV meter is sometimes broken, although you can set it to 0% each time you boot, it'll still go up each time you reboot which is annoying.
Any one tried this out with WC and SLI?
all the others give me bad stuttering, and i have to turn SLI off every time i want to play it.
