Seems like these drivers are very stable in Vista Suring Preformance and Games , very balanced :D:D

Imo beter then 177.35/.39/.40, atleast in Vista Preformance :)

Same here... I changed AA from 4x to 2x in the game options and it works fine (or change to DirectX 7)

My guess is that especially with the 9800GX2, that fact that 175.19 doesn't seem to have any application profiles (XP 32) means Sli isn't working.

    note on this issue:

I have a support ticket with Nvidia, they are looking into it, they "haven't been able to recreate the issue on a dirty install" ie 175.16 then 175.19 over the top. (so the driver is probably still using the application profiles from 175.16 methinks)

They asked me if i'd done a dirty or clean install ?

This implies to me they are aware of the issue for those installing 175.19 cleanly.
I have told them the issue affects me and several other users who have done clean installs (ie remove old driver, run Driver sweeper etc etc)
    I await there response.

Has anyone been able to get these to run on mobile cards? I'm running Vista X64 with an 8600m GT. I've tried changing the 175.16 modded inf and overwrite the nv_disp.inf in the Nvidia directory after downloading the new drivers.

Setup.exe runs, I get the progress bar and then it tells me that the system has not been modified. I've tried installing over my current driver and I've also tried after uninstall/driver cleaner with the same result. Any help would be appreciated

Not necessarily. If everything is running fine for you, then there is no reason for you to update. ;)

Except for maybe the peace of mind...;)

Odd. At least I can fold on these, getting almost 2000ppd with them and the nVidia client on my 8800GTS 320Mb ... is that good? :)

So if you install 179.19 without uninstalling 179.16 then there will be game profiles and SLI works on xp32??

EDIT: Nevermind, tests seem to reveal .19 sucks compared to .16 anyway. lol :wanker:

EDIT2: Looks like nvidia pulled .19 from their site (as of 6/28 for xp32).
