    Time to test DSLSLWSLWLR

    Edit:
    - [NVIDIA Ampere GPU]: With the GPU connected to an HDMI 2.1 audio/video receiver, audio may drop out when playing back Dolby Atmos. [3345965]

Wonder if this means Atmos via Dolby Digital +, TrueHD, or via Dolby MAT or whatever is that the Dolby Access app is using.

Already installed, turned DLDSR on, DSR factor 2.25x DL, couldn't tell the difference in game, tested in RE2, RE3, RE8, FFVII Remake, Cyberpunk2077, doubt it's working.

No performance difference vs regular DSR or no quality difference or both?

It definitely works to some degree as shown here:

    https://imgsli.com/OTAzNDY/0/2

But it will effect some games more than others -- the trees in this example are a good one as subpixel quality there really improves with the resolution is increased.

DLDSR is a bit of head scratching. I tested it both with Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead 2 in 2880*1800 (dlsdr option vs legacy in same resolution) and performance-wise they were more or less the same. Now, if Nvidia claims that DLDSR 1800p can match the optical quality of native dsr 2160p is another topic, its difficult to test it, you have to have 2 100% identical videos synced without compression artifacts and switch back and forth. Just by eye, sure the image looked good on both games.

I heard it only works in exclusive fullscreen mode. And personally it's completely bugged in the "Windowed-Fullscreen" only FF7R, it shows regular DSR options instead of DLDSR even though I have all regular DSR disabled. I tried it in Horizon Zero Dawn in exclusive fullscreen and it doesn't appear to be working either, it gives what appears to be the same performance hit as regular DSR.

What an utter disappointment, nVidia gonna nVidia.

In addition, this new Game Ready Driver offers support for the latest new titles and updates including Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, Hitman III, The Anacrusis, GRIT, and Monster Hunter Rise

Didn't Hitman 3 come out like a year ago?

Never had such issue with any older drivers

They (nvidia) supplied us with the image and video comparison app. Sadly without integrating an objective IQ measuring algo. But there are many available online, although mainly for stills. For objective motion IQ measuring you simply integrate across frames, but it's a bit trickier in practice, especially because you really want IDENTICAL scene and motion vectors. You can create identical videos using mouse/kb macros and a bit of video editing. All in all - yeah its a pain :)

I've just tested the new drivers vs older versions (497.29/496.49) and DLDSR does work. The image is crispier while the fps 'hit' stays the same for the specific resolution of 5120x1440. Unfortunately, I cannot upload any picture here for proof due to the size file being too large.

Tested the new DLDSR plus DLSS in Control and it's working very good, 80-90 sometimes even more FPS at 4k dlss quality on my 1440P monitor, it is very sharp (not oversharpening i hate that) now

I tried 2 games. Supraland, using TAA. And Civilization VI, that uses MSAA.
In Supraland, DLDSR looked good. Sharpening was good enough to bring back the detail lost from the blur caused by TAA.
But in Civ VI, it looked terrible, because it already had a sharp image. It became very over sharpened, making the game a bit strange to look at.
