Yes. I was pretty surprised to see an update.

Did someone try the new studio drivers (462.59)?
They also come with new HD Audio drivers (1.3.38.60)

This driver is absolutly garbage for my 1060.
In AC Valhalla, with effects like fire or something (for example, when you burn down a village), my FPS drops to 5 and game is unplayable. FPS ms jumps to 1500...
Reverted back to 457.30 and all fine here. Stable 45-70 in the same situations.
Same as for World of Warcraft. With 466.72, i have dropping fps till ~35, while with 457.30 a have more stable 55-80 in raid fight with bosses.

Unfortunately on Windows 10 build 19042.985 and these drivers, I still get V-Sync frame drops when I play Forza Horizon 4 on 4k at 120 hz. Game drops to 117 or 116 fps for a second then back to 120 then again 117 fps. Highly annoying and that too with 70% GPU usage. Builds 19042.867 and below, I am able to hold steady 120 fps on 4K V-Sync.

The entire V-Sync mechanism is busted and I honestly don't know whether Nvidia or Microsoft are to blame.

    This driver is absolutely unusable!

It hang both my computer after computer went to sleep mode.

    Computer A - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
    Computer B - Intel Core i7 6700HQ, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M

Back to Driver 465.89 and no more hanging issue.

    Just you.

    also, just you.

Do you have the known issue rollback fix applied, vsyncing issues are microsofts fault.

I found out something about my card (3070).
Before rebar driver/bioses it was perfectly stable @ 1935MHz 0.918v (months of playing same games)
After flashing and using new drivers it got worse and worse crashing out of almost all games I play at random times.

This week I was trying to play forza horizon that used to be perfectly stable and got a out of game crash every time I tried after 5->15 min of play.
This weekend I increased my voltage to 0.925v and had no crash yet.

To me looks like the card needs a pinch more more voltage than with previous bios/drivers.
Could be something in new drivers that increases somehow gpu usage and needs more V.
(or the MHz need to be lowered a bit)

Why ride such a thin line, give the voltage one more little bump.

Yea well, I usually test the lowest necessary voltage with furmark etc and take it from there, bump it only when I see instability/crash in games etc.
0.918v was stable for 4 months pre rebar.

Might be a bit conservative, just trying to find the best perf/cooling/noise ratio for my PC.

I've had 1 crash in 2wks of playing so it's not that bad, but, yeah it does happen.

Any news of new drivers coming soon? They seem overdue, especially considering the dumpster fire that the last several have been. I honestly expected a hotfix, and some optimization for RE8 which never came. AMD and nVidia have reversed roles or what...

Did your nVidia check arrive on time? Or is the leather jacket paying you in reach-arounds?

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they did stop updating drivers, and made a video for their official channel of Jensen simply stating that in one sentence, crossing his arms, putting on sunglasses then saying "deal with it". They'd still sell every single piece of crap they make considering what a joke the entire industry has become thanks to scalpers and miners.

It might make sense but not in my case, 20C room temp regardless.
Side joke, not much of a summer yet for me, 13C outside lol.

I am calm, you're the one who's butt is producing enough heat right now to power a BBQ. What's the matter? You constantly come at everyone who wants to discuss anything, to white knight for nVidia completely jacking the topic and throwing it into chaos, repeatedly, but then you can't take a joke? What you said was lame and cringe as it gets, what I said was funny to everyone but you. I have no idea what you're trying to accomplish by harassing everyone in this thread, but you're going to start hearing more than jokes soon. So either frack off or grow some balls and take it if you're going to keep coming at us.

I'm honestly surprised you've been allowed to be a weaseling little bitch in these threads for so long, just coming in, poking everyone with a stick, then crying when called out.

I'd assume they will be coming out with the 3080 Ti/3070 Ti launch at latest, which should be very soon.
