I would just like to know for complete confirmation, will both these two technologies work as designed, HAGS and Game Mode, as intended for purposes in all applications?

It still seems so far that the answers are still 50/50.

The answer can't be that complicated, or is it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, if somebody say they have crashes with hags on ask how often do they crash. I use hags on and game mode on since day 1. Yeap i had like 3 crashes/system hangs with sound hang in rdr2 all three in swamp area since december 2020, playing every day, 2-3 hour sessions on mondays and can be like 6-8 hours on weekend with no problems, is that often?

game mode is problem causing trash and hags doesn't afford any improvement to make it worthwhile enabling it.

So far, so good with both this 466.11, and the previous 465.89 driver.

Noticed i have a shadowplay problem, not sure if it started with this driver or the previous one..

So when i enable shadowplay, certain windows (like afterburner settings window, nvidia control panel etc) would flicker, and after 2-3min, shadowplay would simply turn itself off
no crash or anything, just turn off. if i enable it again the exact same scenario repeats. i recently started using nvidia broadcast (for mic noise removal) so not sure if that might cause the issue.
    Any suggestions?

    EDIT: tried DDU already

I assume you mean instant replay not manual recording. I used IR a few times on these particular drivers and didn't notice any issues really.
    No GSYNC/Freesync.

Anyone having profile settings not saved? Global settings seem to over-ride any changes I make to profile settings.

This corruption I read few times, is it taskbar corruption (straight lines around that area) @ win10 20H2?
Because I saw this more recently few times with certain 46x.xx drivers, it went away after 2nd reboot. Always by longer e.g. 20hr+ cold boot.

Haven't seen this before when it was a issue by some and nv fixed it later,. I hope its not one of those cases again fix for one arch while break on the other. :d

Installed these today gona see how they go, coming from 457.30 install went find only thing wierd was Startmenu stoped working rebooted and everything was fine, I use Inspector after that restore all my Profiles.

At later time I will test my games.

did my usual Repack with NV slimmer for just Driver and Physx and core install then run DDU with pulled ethernet and after restart I install the repackage drivers that all went a usual no issue there

You don't need to turn off the internet. DDU has an option to turn off windows driver downloads, but I can see you install it like some kind of Rube Goldberg convolution....so you do you.

Read the note to DDU it specificly says to disconnect from internet.

Any way I test my game they all seem to run and at correct framerates, Other then Sekiro it seem to be doing it Black screen issue where it loading the logo and menu again. I dont remeber how i fixed that last time either

I have used this option in ddu since it was available with no issues. Why would it be there if it didn't do anything.

yah sekiro is pain to start it general start up black screen sit there for 5+ minutes before it actual loads, I remember sekiro have this problem a year ago and it still does would of thought they would patch/fix the issue by now cause it is not the drivers cause it has done every driver i ever used since have this game

it offers no benefits at all at the present time, only contributes to problems.

I agree, also causing problems in AC Valhalla for me, while offers no performance gains, so it's off, same as game mode.
But I keep REBAR on, as I gained 1-5 fps depending on game, those drivers seems stable for me.

Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling can help boost performance in scenarios when you're (severly) CPU limited. In scenarios where you're GPU limited (especially when the GPU is really stressed), it may even lead to performance degredation. With some games it has the nasty side effect that there is micro-stuttering with it enabled as well.

The only game where I've seen it grant a performance boost on my system so far is MS Flight Simulator (especially in VR), but since it causes stuttering and general lower performance in many of my other games, I leave it off.
Note that I do play at 3840x2160 (flat) to 3172x3096x2 (VR) resolution, usually with all detailed maxed out on a relatively modern CPU though, so there rarely is a scenario where I'm CPU limited.
