Download the Nvidia GeForce 430.97 Hotfix driver as released by NVIDIA. ... GeForce 430.97 hotfix driver download
Nice, just forwarded this to a guy who is selling a laptop cause of that error code 43. Hopefully it works out for him before he sells it too cheap for nothing. Though he does not have a sandy bridge cpu, i think it was a hasswell cpu.
Oh thank you Mr. Internet but there's nothing to fix, 430.86 WHQL works fine, as did every previous driver.
Astyanax must be a AMD GPU user to have such a off based comment as this even though he lists an Nvidia 1080Ti on his sig. This driver is plain unstable with it being whacked on 4 out of 5 of my nvidia equipped rigs; mostly unstable in high particle count games or if you are running a multi-screen setup. Revert back to 430.86 and the world returns to normal - STABLE. We will have a new driver release on Monday or so to supplant this piece of rubbish.
@Astyanax - Then lets up the ante here shall we. Setup a Twitch feed showing you have the 430.97 driver installed with default settings (no changing settings - that would be cheating) and run Battlefield V ( if you own the game , no pirating now little boys and girls, if not I will come up with a free benchmark that produces the correct environment ) at ultra settings and your screen's native resolution without a crash ( 30 minutes should do ). I already know what is wrong in the driver as I have the white paper with the bug reports from nvidia. Don't ask for it as my job and business connections within Nvidia are more important than a pissing contest with you. So, put your money where you mouth is. *Throws Gauntlet and slaps across the face with a dirty glove* Just to let you know I have been a full and productive member of these threads since guru3d was first brought on line; this screen name is just a burner if need be. I have seen people like you come and go with the passing of the wind. And those 4 machines you claim are connected by me are actually built by, certified by, and supported by Nvidia for doing medical research modelling for cancer research. So basically you just told Nvidia they build trash rigs; not the best move by you. The fifth one is my own personal gaming rig and I did not even bother to install 430.97 due to it being flawed. My other rigs have a mix of AMD and Intel so I am an equally opportunity user with no one foot in any camp.
They are not running games. They each have four monitors on them and when they start having their sync signal randomly stopped by the driver causing the monitors to loose their picture. Would you call that a minor or major issue? Such a basic function broken. With the 480.86 driver there are zero issues; stability all around. But, on to other things. Apparently your are not willing to but your money where your mouth is. Twitch link to the stream please. If not, then you have zero credibility and will be ignored from now on and probably by more people than just me. And at this point it is appropriate to call you out as a bully for attacking another board member just for reporting a driver has an issue. Good day sir/madam.
Prove otherwise Astyanax - the ball is in your court. Looking more and more like a ignorant fool that get his kicks out of attacking other people. Cannot back up his/her own point.
No, its really not - you're making the claims of instability - its entirely in your court to prove its not your pc. Have fun with that.
You have yet to prove that yours is stable on 430.97; I guess you like sitting on that double edge sword of yours. Twitch is free you know.
for me they're the only 430.xx driver that is ok in general. Earlier 430.xx had Destiny2 issues, this one seems to hold and plays fine.
I have sandy bridge CPU and it installs video driver, but with an exclamation mark in device manager, so unusable video card. This hotfix resolved the problem.
