Likely something they've run into during Turing prelaunch testing and fixed it right away, without even adding it to issues.

Probably some random delay, they're available for download via Geforce Experience app.

They are figuring out how to write "RTX" instead of "GTX" in GeForce.com driver selector /s

Well, they've been working on it for some time now AFAIK.

It should be fixed. If enabling this still shows micro-stutter, please let me know what tool you are using and what version of that tool. Also which GPU(s) you are monitoring and which app/games you used to test with.

Users with CPU limited systems will see better performance in this game with the newer drivers.

I was hoping for a new GUI :(

Doesn't say anything specifically about Turing so hopefully this applies to all cards?

Always when a new driver comes out all I care FIRSTLY is to be working as perfect as possible with Windows 10. Then Games and Movies ( efficient decoding without bugs ). I don't like serious Windows bugs, especially when I only use one card ( not SLI ).

P.S. By the way, thank God I don't feel the itch to upgrade my GTX1060 6GB to 2000 series. On the other hand, I can't wait for an i5 9600 with H390 M/B, Intel I219V Ethernet and Realtek 1220 Codec. Integrated USB 3.1 Gen 2 very nice addition, too and DDR4 2666MHZ became the norm.

I play on 1080p and have no plans whatsoever to upgrade resolution. And always VSynced. 1060 yet to encounter a single problem with the particular games I play. Never under 60FPS AND with my BELOVED 4x normal Anti-Aliasing ( MSAA ). And no, believe me, I don't search for excuses. And something last but not least, why did I never had any issue with monitoring software like GPUZ or Afterburner? Mysterious.

If it really did take .5 to 1 fps to fix the stuttering issue, so be it, right?! heh

The older drivers had incorrect profile bits for MHW, It was fixed by a user and Nvidia implemented the newer bits.

Also, People comparing tests that are 1 fps lower.

Run the same benchmark 3 times with your setup, you will get variances.

The whole point about "being slower"

I personally expected positive boost or at least 3-5fps boost across various games, not marginal errors and in negative side.

I will install them now anyway and see for myself, but still not a good first impression so far.

    Edit: 517MB.. xD

What I don't understand, when you talk about "within marginal error", why that error always seems to be slower FPS and no faster marginal error FPS? I don't insinuating something, just saying.

Guys, you have to realise. The world is big and there are only two companies while Moor's law is becoming deprecated. The games behind the scenes I imagine are... beyond imagination.

What tells me Nvidia couldn't built the same RTX 4-5 years ago with slightly bigger nm. It would be more mature now, but they do have to play the slowest game possible in GPU development. Because... Money.
