Use driver 382.53. works for me and my buddies for these two games
Win7 Ultimate 64bit
Tested both COD:BO3 and IW; both working here. BO3 runs better (no suprises) than IW, but, IW has that weird 90fps lock and still has some stutter while playing mp online.
I have no issues in black ops with these and previous WHQL Drivers.
Good to see you guys are not having issues with those COD games. I am using 382.53 because the two COD games run well for us in multiplayer. But I will try this beta driver.
No gaming performance in my side, but encoding videos and converting takes less time especially in cyberlink power director and wondershare video converter.
tried Nier automata @ 4k and i like what i see
near game default ultra graphics settings + FAR 7.0.10 and i'm looking at something between 55fps to 72fps
I'm still seeing WDDM 2.2 with build 16251.0 and these drivers.
Just imagine if nVidia decided to put the final nail in AMD RX Vega's coffin and release some sort of ultimate game ddiver for 1080Ti and completely give gamers just no reaseon to even consider going AMD.
Hi all, I have small question: can Devs modify the driver and give same optimization to 1080TI?
they could, but it would interfere with their market segmentation, so they will not unless the market changes in a rather significant way, which is unlikely.
Any good for BF1 ? All drivers above 382.05 bring stutter and FPS drops.
I was talking about Our Devs ;-).
I do yearly upgrades and I must say the 980 Ti and now the 1080 Ti were pretty awesome upgrades. So much so that I have decided that I will only buy Ti cards from now on. The 20% improvement I got from jumping to a 1080 from a 980 Ti left a sour taste in my mouth.
drivermod is probably possible, but no one has managed such a mod for a long time (rivatuner/ fermi vbios mod).
Best chance of success would likely be a hard mod, It is possible to solder reference kepler/fermi cards to report as their quadro counterparts ,doesn't enable ecc or other features but it fools the driver.
haven't seen any hardmods for maxwell and newer however, may no longer be possible.
edit: I have looked further into it, info is non-existent for maxwell and newer. newest card that its been attempted on is a 750ti without success,
there was mention of nvidia possibly switching to efuses for the hw strap which would render such a mod virtually impossible.
Only way to know if it would work on newer cards would be for someone with a quadro to find and document the hw strap resistors , and then for someone with the equivalent geforce to attempt the mod.

This. Besides Nvidia apparently said that if you own a Ti, next Ti will be cheaper for you.
Seems that way.
I get the mesage that this driver does not support my gtx 1080 ti wrong version or something lol.
Odd, works here.
Beta nonsense i gues, previous driver works fine [384.94]
SLI still Dead on X299 boards regardless what brand
NVIDIA needs to FIX this issue
