    I am very grateful that the VRAM usage problem has been fixed with this driver. Also the SLI profile for Dishonored 2 works great for me.

    I have GTX 970 with ASUS VG248QE on 144hz. After updating to this and restarted, It is fixed to 85 hz, can't change it.

    Update: did another restart, now it is 144hz again.

    Its all over reddit. Its an SLI Issue only. SLI Users (like myself) turn off SLI and its fine, but you obviously take a major performance hit. This is on VICE/EA, its Not a Driver issue. The update patch tonight to BF1 Screwed the pooch for us SLI users, As usual.

    On a side note, I still played BF1 with the wonky menus and such, and got a BSOD with these drivers after about an hour of playing (Have card fans on Max when i play) 2x980 SLI EVGA Classifieds

    Got a BSOD on dxgmms2.sys..

    Yep, got the memory bug as well. I thought I was going to be slick and avoid it, but my curiosity got the better of me :bang:

    The "issue" with madvr and Optimal power mode has been a thing since this power setting was introduced.

    Optimal power mode doesn't renders images that are similar to the last rendered image, at low resolutions videos (720p and less) this isn't really a problem since rendering times are so low that theres no difference, but once higher resolution videos are played and the rendering times are starting to get higher they add up and frames are dropped.

    I don't know what Nividia is doing (optimizing only for Pascal ?)
    but every last driver was a fps massacre and glitch fiesta on my 980gtx sli setup
    I launched my old skyrim which I know ran well (100+fps) last year now huge slowdowns for no reasons visual glitches, shadowplay doesnt work for half the games, i get black screens when going underwater etc.. etc...

    I went back to 353.62 WHQL sigh (the 1st ones to support 980gtx)

    FPS drop

    I downloaded this update today, and on my gtx 1080 I suffered fps capping at around 15. Usually my rig will easily manage 60-140 FPS on 4k resolution without any issue. I reverted to a previous driver and now reside at about the same FPS as I was prior.

    My PC config is:

    Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
    Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Xtreme Gaming Premium Pack Video Card
    Samsung 950 PRO 256GB M.2-2280 SSD
    Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

    Wow, I can't believe how badly Dishonored 2 still runs even on these drivers... dips to 27-35 fps on the Royal Conversatory level on 2560x1440 maxed out settings (with no change even if I reduce the adaptive resolution to its annoying default of 75). Unbelievable. Not blaming the driver primarily but I'm sure it wasn't running this badly on the v375.76 Hotfix driver. :3eyes:

    Fortunately, I do not seem to be affected by the 810 MHz VRAM clock bug that other Pascal owners have been reporting with this driver. My VRAM runs at its intended, as in overclocked with +450 MHz, 5,450 MHz speed (or 4,950 MHz in less demanding games, not sure if that's intentional or a glitch though...).

    It doesn't seem to affect my EVGA GTX 1080 FTW fortunately in the games I've tested so far (Dishonored 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Obduction and Titanfall 2) and my Global profile is set to Optimal.

    However, there are several things to consider here:

    1. My card was recently updated with a new BIOS to address the thermal issues with this card;
    2. In many games, I force Prefer Max Performance via the NVIDIA per-game profile to prevent the GPU downclocking during gaming;
    3. I have overclocked my card by +75 MHz on the GPU and +450 MHz on the memory.

    Any or all of those things could be helping to prevent the issue on my system if this is a driver issue.

    Changing the power mode setting was the first option I've tried obviously and it doesn't help at all.

    I've yet to find any game besides Doom 3 where switching from Optimal or Adaptive to Max Perf makes ANY kind of difference. No idea what some of you are talking about.
