did the sfc /scannow and the OS is good, no corrupted files, so i only have to do a disk cleanup and see what happen. Thank you

Well I just found out these broke HWBOT x265 Benchmark 2.0.

Keep getting "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." errors in event log when I run it.

Try the 375.76 hotfix drivers as a fix for GIF corruption is included.

Since installing these drivers I've had several instances were Windows 10 would randomly restart. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Can someone tell me why DSR always shuffles around my desktop icons?
Only the latest few driver versions have done this, but it's really frustrating.
You start a game, use DSR, get back to desktop and all the icons are messed up.

"Remove all the intel rapid storage"? No, dont do that, they provide the drivers for AHCI SSD, gives better performance. You can disable them from starting up at boot.

It was ok here with TH2 up until this wddm2.1 driver in RS1..

btw I dont see anything, just manually set proper resolution, dpi and at end some registry settings for each display..

So you meant I would have to use that cmd script to force 100% and stop shifting them?

I remember older drivers shifted too, but in end icons went to their original position.
Now it goes to the left and up and leaves them there

EDIT: like so 1080p desktop returned from DSR 2880x1620

No, you only have to disable autoscaling in the registry once.
Well, dunno if something has changed with the shuffle behavior with Redstone, but it has been unacceptable icon chaos since 1511.

For Path: go HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop
Then click in the right part Win8DpiScaling twice and set to 1.

So this and that's it? It will stay at 96 or 100%? but what about ingame scaling menus, etc then? :nerd:

edit: its still doing it, did a quick RE5 test.. As on that pic above in my edit - it shifts that recycle bin icon.

Also now it had trouble DSR'ing, it rendered whole resolution windowed few times (on 4th atl+tab or alt+enter). think I'll just change that back to 0.
