Just wondering, is that good or bad?
Waiting a while before updating from 375.63, for obvious reasons. :)

Branch doesn't really matter. They can add fixes and features from different branches to current branch. Sometimes a branch is unstable and they abandon it.

I like to run FAH on my pc when I am away, I have gathered 44 million points with my GTX 1070 in the past month. With this driver my PPD bottoms out. Absolutely terrible. It will read anywhere from 390k to 560k PPD then once its finished with a WU or two it will completely stop folding and give my the yellow circle in the web browser then a exclamation mark in the notification area. Anyone else run Folding at home? The last driver did the same thing but I brushed it off. I have a CLEAN install of win 10 x64, latest developer preview was installed from a USB iso. So no other previous drivers or hardware have been installed in this pc since the refresh this week.

    Running 7.4.15 of FOA.

    Any tips?

In the past sub branch usually preformed better, its when main 00 has to many issues.

So far they keep returning to main, so guess its not that bad.

I'm getting slowdowns with this driver in Dirt Rally which I didn't have in the 375.63 drivers. I guess the other branch is better with my setup. I'll probably roll back to the .63 since I play this game a lot.

And do you have the annoying black artefacts on Gifs and videos on Facebook, youtube, imgur ? for example

Maybe it happens after couple of gifs so try to keep watching more of them, it happened to me on the 4th gif. since drivers 373

Not really, just the same bloat fest either way.

I notice now, they slip in the Telemetry crap, but that is deleted, as above, also. Nice clean install, and no problems thus far ;)

It's little wonder most will have problems, with all that nonsense running, honestly.

    Why does it bother you?

After the installation you can delete the NVIDIA folder anyways.

I install and that's it. There's too little time in life to care about bundled programs that I'll never use or what process is using how much memory.

Damn... For me it was 656MB because I delete everything I thought I could (only install driver and psysx ), and now it became 146MB without the installer2 folder. Nice nice. The x86 remains 202MB. Effin Physx with multiple versions. I think I'll start getting rid of psysx too. Don't have games that use it and usually my card can't handle it anyway.

im having problem playing .gif and other video formats that it get black artifacts. no problem noticed in gaming in terms of graphical issues, tested shadow warrior 2, doom, fallout 4 and witcher 3. im not very peculiar in fps unless its a very drastic noticeable slowdown.

i had a bsod while tabbed out of elite dangerous, watching a youtube video. my cpu overclock is a mild 4.6 on a 6700k under a custom loop. been running it for over 6 months with no issues. 1080 FE was also on at a mild oc so it wasn't that. if it happens again, ill roll back and see if it is these drivers.
