    You can delete whole installer2 folder, it won't damage anything.. Just when you select clean install option it will say there is no current *driver installed..
    *Its extracted older and current drivers..

    For those who want to keep the NVCPL service set to manual I've created a powershell script.

    Copy paste this into a text file and save as all files with name NVCPL.ps1

    param([switch]$Elevated)

    function Test-Admin {
    $currentUser = New-Object Security.Principal.WindowsPrincipal $([Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity]::GetCurrent())
    $currentUser.IsInRole([Security.Principal.WindowsBuiltinRole]::Administrator)
    }
    if ((Test-Admin) -eq $false) {
    if ($elevated)
    {
    # tried to elevate, did not work, aborting
    }
    else {
    Start-Process powershell.exe -Verb RunAs -ArgumentList ('-noprofile -WindowStyle Hidden -noexit -file "{0}" -elevated' -f ($myinvocation.MyCommand.Definition))
    }

    exit
    }

    Start-Service NVDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem
    & "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Control Panel Client\nvcplui.exe"
    Start-Sleep -s 60
    Stop-Service NVDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem
    Exit-PSSession
    [Environment]::Exit(1)

    This script will automatically start the required service, open up NVCPL, and then automatically close the service after 60 seconds.

    If you are still inside the NVCPL after 60 seconds, it will close due to required service being terminated.

    If you want to change how long it waits to close the service change the line "Start-Sleep -s x", where X is the number of seconds

    Make sure you have default open with set to powershell or it will open with notepad instead.
    Or you can right click for context menu and select run script.

    Copy the script over to your documents folder and create a shortcut to your desktop if you want to change the icon to the NVCPL icon.

    Edited script; powershell process would not close, also cleaned it up due to unnecessary arguments.

    Another great tip to optimize your PC resource usage:

    Especially handy if you have 16gb ram or more, a cpu with 8 or more threads and a gtx 1080.

    Press the power button to turn off the PC. when you need it to use resources, press the power button again.

    If you want, print out nvidia's icon and glue it on the power button.

    This way you will have all the power freed up just for when you need it.

    yes, this will give you a 4k capable rig for no money. but don't spread it around too much or nvidia will release a new series and cripple pascal. :p

    Well, with gtx 580 i was already able to ran decently battlefield 1 in 2K :D
    I think i just don't put any sticker on my car and my rig. Don't like 'em. :banana:
    2K is fine, i don't need 4K for the sticker.

    p.s. : 2k sticker free! :D

    The Windows 10 Tile issue (if that is what you're referring to) is still fixed. So I would think so.

    as far as i can tell these drivers have same performance as 368.22, the game "ready" drivers for skyrim se did nothing to increase performance compared to 368.22

    I've just realized that Vulkan API has been updated to 1.0.24 (from 1.0.13)
