I got 353.45 Windows 10 x64 installed fine on build 10162.
No BSOD here.
4-way SLI GTX 580 3GB
Previous relase bring me instant TDR crash on Witcher 3.
So i revert back to 353.12.
Any info about free from TDR on maxwell with this hotfix?
I can't test it now.
347.25, 347.52, 347.88 & 350.12 don't have TDR issue.
so far 353.38 i tested for few weeks no TDR. today just installed 353.45 so far haven't face any TDR yet & still under observation.
nvidia only fixed the sony vegas pro only so just a minor beta driver. i really hope next WHQL really perform more stable.
do u play Fifa 15? the game is badly optimized on PC. the game will freeze when u/pc shoot the ball inside the box. what i know previous driver 347.25 don't have this kinda issue.
For some reason this driver made my windows startup really slow (it hangs for like a minute when the start menu appears, then it continues loading). Reverted to 353.38 and everything is normal again. Windows 8.1 x64 btw.
No issues so far using 353.45, was using 353.38 which also worked without problems. IE browsing seems a bit quicker . Used DDU to uninstall old drivers under Win 7 x64.
As you can see from a recent test Kepler bug fixes and optimizations
will also be included in drivers as of version 353.06.
5960x pretty darn expensive. 3xSLI u really freaking rich.
i installed 353.30 > 353.38 > 353.45 w/o uninstalling so far no issue yet.
This last two Hot-Fix drivers gives me VERY erratic GPU Usage in some games, like Ryse and Diablo 3. I'm gonna try K-Boost today after work to see if it fix the problem.
980 SLI and G-Sync.
Any good for the witcher 3 or skyforge? 353.38 works well for my 760
Same for me no more led bug for the G-sync and the driver work perfectly well so far.
ya random spike on all the games but at least no more TDR. something wrong with the P-state, clock core & memory thingy. let's hope next WHQL will fix it.
Thanks for infos. I didn't tried them all.
I remember the 347.25. I keep them long time b4.. And it was good drivers.
But new titles push me into newer relases. Coz I need new SLI profiles.
After 347.25 drivers, some game profiles contain smaller amount of flags.
It cause some games like : Crysis 3, FarCry 4, and some other titles, stuttering on demanding scenes, and perform worse in general to me.
When I import old 347.25 profiles by inspector into newer drivers sometimes this fix issues.. sometimes do not match.
My point here is.. Its abit suspicious, why they cut-off some data from profiles
I don't have fifa to test...
They released a new one now with win 10 support
GeForce Hotfix driver 353.49
I still get random crashes to desktop on various games. I used DDU, CCleaner, clean install, this driver is a piece of... In fact all Nvidia's latest drivers are like that. This is shameful.
Two driver releases within 24 hours! I'm more happy than ever!
Im gonna install the 353.49 instead of this one
BOTH LAST DRIVERS ARE ONLY FIX FOR Sony Vegas Pro crashes. Why people you bother or get so excited ??? Do you have any problems using that software you need it,you don't use it stay on 353.38 its the same!!!
I guess its part of the hobby, keeping everything updated
Well, Nvidia does not document every fix or change , you can see by version it not just Sony fix .
Sad thing you will never know but I bet they just add the fix to current branch there working on, so you very well may get more fixes/changes , you just never know.
That said, I never install each version, I am still on 347.09 I think .
If I have no issue I just leave it, not going to notice a small % increase anyway .
Stability is most important .
Because that's not how drivers work. Those drivers are more complex than an OS. They might come out specifically to fix X game but they might also help with Y issue, even if it wasn't intended.
Same reason why some drivers are perfect for a certain game but might break others.
