Thanks for share the "nerd stuff" info
microsoft released an update to fix the start menu problem games.
did it fix any of you guys problems?
It fixed what it was suppose to fix.
Anyone know if it solves the driver crashing when opening the start menu while in SLI?
these drivers remind of my vista beta days
Nice! I didn't know these were connected. I never saw the Start Menu appear when it wasn't supposed to, but Alt-Tab would soft lockup a lot of games. Far Cry 4 would also get a black screen and become unresponsive after about 5-10 minutes of playing in Full Screen mode.
Now Nvidia or MS, fix the damn 5.1 surround sound issue that has been plaguing Nvidia users for several builds/drivers now.
I can run wolf old blood at 4k dsr in windows 8.1
but not in windows 10, as the game gives opengl error saying it ran out of memory.
same game settings for both system, even lowered some of the settings.
this is the only driver that even lets me start the game.
I used older drivers and the windows 8.1 drivers and both will give driver stopped errors or I get screen corruption.
every thing works great in windows 8.1
I'll answer my own question. It doesn't fix it. Probably need a new driver.
they got what?, 3-4 months to fix problems..
nvidia probably sweating over this.
Supposedly end of July release.
