You maybe right but this trash is the only thing that turns off the ugly white led on the top of my GPU so now it gets installed just for one thing. Guess they were out of red?

installed and not much better in benches than the .09 but then the .09 causes still frame lock ups in BL2 for me so we will need to test these to see if it is corrected. the .75 have been flawless but slower.

I don't like what GFE does to game settings when it 'optimises' them, I've checked out the recommended optimised settings it wants to apply to each game, and they would make it run worse, or look worse than my custom settings

The LED control for 9xx series is broken, I don't stream to anywhere, I find driver updates on G3D, DSR works without it too, it's a pretty pointless program, so I don't bother with it

Would it need to be of the duct variety? I know they make red duct tape, that may look cool. ;-)

    Too funny

Lol.. sorry but I can't help myself laugh.

If you want to control LED there are 3 ways I know of

    A) MSI Kombuster (has 3 options for LED Control)
    B) EVGA LED Controller (various schemes, highly recommended)
    C) Goto Nvidia Driver install folder, Copy LEDVisualizer folder to a good location and run NvLedVisualizer.exe. Does not apply scheme at start for some reason, the other methods do.

Way better than being even close to the abomination GFE.

Does exactly the same thing as GFE, turns the LOGO into a strobe light, no matter what settings I use

The GFE has an off setting and apply at windows start that works for me. I do not need it to breathe or bounce with my music, a dim red would be nice, as my board and cooler, but that is not in the settlings that I see.

If it does not do it at start up then it is not of much use to me.

Thank you will try to see if one of these will turn off the led at startup with a smaller footprint. As has been said I can set up my games without the help of this software.

    Regards

It works for On and Off, anything else and it starts flashing 10-15 times a second, the breathing and other settings work, but strobes while it animates so I just leave it turned on as a solid light

Just installed and it shuts the solid white led off at start up, install 1.05 MB and should not need to mess with it every clean driver install. GFE now uninstalled. Thankz nanogenesis thought if I threw it out there maybe someone would give me the quick fix.

To the OP thanks for the drivers (running now) and sorry to hijack the thread a bit.

    Regards

Another option: disconnect the power LED cable. I did that with my Zotac 970 AMP! extreme.

I still get the flickering lights threw walls in TITANFALL with this.

Only way I found to fix it is to set SLI to AFR2 mode but this severely decreases performance.

Running it with one GPU for now until they fix it.

For those with bright lights in the HT room and a solid steel side on their box it is no problem at all ..... we would assume? We were not of the understand that we were solving world problems here but this maybe the 1st :p.
