For all Far Cry 4 users, i just discovered some bug related to NVIDIA preset in game. If you use NVIDIA preset instead of "ULTRA" (or any other) and than modify custom settings (for example lower Antialising to SMAAA), you will loose aprox 20% of performance (gpu usage will be 20% higher on same area) compared to same custom settings under "ULTRA" preset. So, same custom settings (all NVIDIA stuff enabled), big performance difference. So, first set preset to ULTRA than enable NVIDIA effects under custom settings and you will get noticeably more FPS. Report back your findings. Quick test shows no visual difference for me.

  3. Need anyway a new/patch for driver/Far Cry 4 game :)

Same problems for me as with 344.48, 344.60 and 344.65...

    - Impossible to remove the installer after download (Except by rebooting in safe mode)
    - Instable overclock for my GTX780.

    Come back to 344.11....

I hope the next releases will solve my issues...

So can we expect a proper DA: I SLI profile next release?

We don't even have a working GFE profile, Seth.

EDIT: Spoke to soon. Fixed now!

Pebkac. It's how you configured Windows if you can't delete the installer. I have had no issues with any of the drivers you listed and can't find similar complaints from other people. The overclock is your card, different drivers use them in different ways so your borderline oc is unstable.

Anyone know when MfAA is going to be enabled for sli? My 4k panel and oc'd gtx 970 sli await.

See Gringopig comment in this link.

Why should I have the problem since 344.48 and not with all former versions until 344.11... ?

Posted in other thread too but it seems to happen with these too.

    Ok can somebody help me...

I use dual monitor and when my monitors come out of standby or sleep, one of them (primary, vg248qe 144hz) does not turn back on, black screen.

I use displayport. If I restart my computer, it gets fixed. If I uninstall the nvidia drivers, I have no issues using the microsoft display drivers (although they are unusable for obvious reasons), so I believe the problem is caused by the nvidia drivers.

However, prior to my format, I am pretty sure the 344.11 worked... It doesnt this time. I am confused.

Feel like there is some power issue that does not wake up my monitor after sleep/monitor standby.

    Hello everybody,
    I just installed a GeForce GT 630 in a Dell T3400 Intel Dual Core, 4GB, SSD 240GB.
    Running Windows 8.1 latest updates.
At first boot after physical installation, Windows update installed 340.52 driver ok.
I tried 344.75 and 344.80 and both give me BSOD during driver install in nvlddmkm.sys.
I tried manual install from device manager, same pb.
Used DDU in safe mode to uninstall.
    Whats wrong?

    Solution will come:

Miss the old days when drivers usually had changelogs with +10% performance in x game, +25 performance in y game etc.

New maxwell cards released and still not proper driver released. I still get sluggish performance in desktop with my 980, and in some games too.

Yeap, i am still not satisfied with the performance of my GTX970.Maybe NVIDIA is waiting the new AMD cards to appear and then they'll give us a good performance driver ? Who knows..

Guys, everyone who use 1000 hz mouse polling try this please.

using 970 GTX , open nvidia inspector.

Don't have anything opened , move your mouse very fast, do you see the GPU Usage ?

it's clearly that if you try to play game and have sometimes stuttering it could be from the reason it takes almost 10%-35% GPU Usage when you move the mouse.

mines reached from 19% to 45% by just moving the mouse fast on desktop !
