Agreed. I bought nFS shift2 because they told me it would have SLI support. Thats all im really pissed about. Other than that I love my Nvidia and my TRI-SLI

Yeah But I paid allot less for my three 465 and they will smoke your card that you paid more for. The only games that has not worked and get terrible performance is L.A and NFS shift two.

Shift 2 SLI scaling is limited to two gpus. And the last I checked the game, it scaled fine.
Disable one gpu, and run the game with two gpus to see if it runs better.

It's the same as with previous drivers. The only way to "kind of" fix it is to lower Vehicle Reflections to "High" instead of "Ultra".

Before 2nd patch I used to have constant 60fps. After, as you can see, GPUs don't work higher than 60%.

I got my reasons to buy an expensive card.

First of all i'm a sucker for silence, and there wont be water in my PC period!. So that means a 580 with Arctic Cooler at 40% Fan Speed :)

    Have you ever tried 290.53?

Also when you uninstall the old Drivers make sure it says "Standard VGA Adapter" in Device Manager. If not force Windows to uninstall the Drivers thru Device Manager.

I used to just overwrite driver installations myself which normaly works fine, but it's still best to uninstall them completely.

lets forget about consoles, most pc gamers dont use sli. Tons of pc exclusive games arent sli friendly, its not a console thing. Mind you sli is miles ahead of crossfire.

Anyone tested SWTOR already ? Any improvement ? I tought the next nvidia driver would have some optimizations for the game. But nothing on the notes about it. Cant test it yet, at work.

Down clocking better work properly, that leaked 295.xx had it all over the place just like 280.xx.

I run Heaven benchmark and with extreme tesselation I have 40.3 fps instead of 39.0 with previous drivers, though the score in 3DMark11 is the same as before.
No difference in the games I play.

    Time for me

To start pricing 2 new Radeon 7950's. It used to be that ATI's drivers were always a problem and that Nvidia had a good stream of beta drivers to fix whatever problems were going on. It has flipped. I'm heading over to the Red.

Great...real drivers and not photochopped pictures... I sure hope these fix the issue with the driver crashing with even just TF2 running in window mode on a 430card... had to back up a few sets to fix that.

Your chipset bottleneck can't do anything.

Dunno why so many people got issues. Been using 290.53 since they were out and havn't had a single issue.

Can't say much about 295.53 yet as they are too fresh. Let's say i report back in a week or 2.
