Digital vibrance works with 295.51 for me too. It's just that the edge enhancement, colour enhancement, etc. settings for video playback just don't work. I tried reinstalling but that wasn't helping. So, I went back to 290.53 and it definitely works now.

They better release a decent driver otherwise then can #%$@ off :bash:

I don't have any serious issues, but there are always some new bugs and that is getting really, really old. :infinity:

Quite angry for someone that doesn't have serious issues :p
I do agree though, they've dropped the ball a few times like the movie maker bug and the current memory leak with some media players. We'll see what happens :p

By the way where did you see ManuelG write that? Can't find it on Nvidia's forum.

Ha ha...got a chuckle just picturing that. Release the exact same driver but with different numbers say two weeks apart and see how many people have different issues or 'improved visual quality'. On the other hand, I understand what Radical means when describing a driver as being 'smoother'. Fallout 3 for example was notorious for stuttering with some drivers and not others.
Some drivers seem to suffer more with micro-stutter in SLI.

Just started playing Civ V again.

OH MAN. Unplayable, enormous flickering with tiles.

    EPILEPSY WARNING:D

Any hints, or just roll back drivers?

Maybe try disabling AA? That's a fix for me concerning a driver recover issue in at least 2 "older" games, maybe AA is related for that issue too.

getting a strange crash with this drivers. "pink screen of death" and freeze while playing MP4 video files with Potplayer sometimes. anybody else got this problem? I got a GTX 560. i also have to mention i forced 4:4:4 mode by registry for my 32A656 HDTV because nVidia is to lazy to fix it, if i select it in the nvidia panel it always reverts to RGB.

Using potplayer, not getting that error with mp4's, avi's or mkv's. Tried without your registry fix or over a dvi port?

it's a dvi-to-hdmi converter+ hdmi cable. it's not an error, more like a crash. so far it happened only while playing media files and using FF--> on them alot.

This driver gave me the first error ever with BF3. Keeping 290.53 which are rock solid for me.

These drivers seems to have become unstable on my system (Windows7 64bit, GeForce GTX 580) with random driver kernel crashes all over the place while gaming World of Warcraft in windowed mode.

And when the driver kernel crash, the game client crash and at times this occurs after just 10-15min of playtime. They did also completely fry and overheat my girlfriends GTX 480, but I guess that card was going downhill anyway.

Does anyone have a driver they would recommend for World of Warcraft, Medieval 2: Total War with Third Age Total War modification, Mass Effect 1 and other "older" games, because all these newer drivers seems to make older games behave and preform worse and worse for every new update.

Yeah, that doesn't do it for me. I left the control panel to "application controlled" for AA and turned it right off in Civ V and it still is a super-seizure scramble-fest. I didn't try the other suggestion of turning off SLI...but you might as well ask me to chop off a hand. :)

Guess I'll be reverting back as well...I play Civ V via email and I can't look at that mess on a daily basis.

    Poor job nVidia, poor job.
