Wouldn't it be wise to only get your network/chipset drivers installed first, then run windows update till it is completely up to date before installing Video Drivers? That has always been my method and I have yet to run into an issue yet doing it this way. Windows update has a lot of little fixes that can pertain to drivers, sli, and other things that you may not think. Just make sure you do not let it install the "updated" video drivers from Windows Update (unless you are using an onboard intel chip or something). Not a huge nono, but it is just useless for true gaming.
