"I find this funny because the textures in the beta on ALL platforms are around half quality. They aren't even showing you the best graphics yet. Therefore, your benchmarks are a waste of time =P

This is incorrect - verified through both GPU vendors and their developer relations teams. That WAS the case in the alpha though."

Seems to happen every now and then, but for me it ain't an issue. Got my Fan fixed at 42% so no noise issues.

yeah just wondering as my temps on water have gone up. heatwave and jumping clocks...was idling around 24c now around 30c.

so am wondering if its my loop or something else (air temp etc). so will just have to wait it out. not a major prob.

Here is the issue: The truth, the facts and real deal. I have to do this from time to time to keep my sanity:

With all these stupid micro-manage apps like GPU usage apps and apps that show every minute details of everything we have all this fear and confusion of our hardware. If there were never any GPU usage apps we would never complain that game X only uses 65% while game Y uses 72%. It is this nonsense that has caused all the FUD. For all those that do not know what the term FUD is, it means:

Fear, Uncertainty and doubt. All these applications are doing is causing FUD across the internet at breath neck speeds. This in turn causes everyone to question each and every diver and in turn makes people vote negative things for example: This driver causes my GPU to increase 2 degrees. This is nonsense! Or this driver has low GPU usage. Again utter nonsense!! Each game is different. There isn't a 100% usage standard for video games. It doesn’t all start off 100%. It is all in the game code. It is all in how they coded and made the game. That is it, no hocus-pocus or Harry Potter "avada-kedavra" with some stick wand going on here. It is FUD...FUD..FUD...

Read this post a million times if you all have too. Use your IQ and common sense. Stop acting like little kids all the time. Use your brain!!

never had it before..dunno if its the driver..

    could someone please test that?

    gtx460.

    go youtube --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqBn5c3ymCI

and watch it in original res..then go fullscreen. here it starts to lagg extreme..unwatchable..when i set it to 1080 it is smooth as butter...Tested in firefox and ie

    crazy thing somehow..

    please help..

    -BetA-

    edit:

ok i just found out that when i watch the 1080 i get around 12 % gpu usage in windowed mode..in fullscreen its around 15%

when i watch the Original (1920x1200) i get around 7% gpu usage in windowed mode and fraking 0% in fullscreen mode..

    WTF...

    Gpu acceleration is ENABLED..

Yup stutters like crap for me too, also play raw video from fraps is still not as smooth as the 270 drivers for me.

Its like gpu is not kicking in soon enough.
