Well Ill say this. It wont kill your card unless your really stupid.

The stock voltage for my sli setup is 987 but I got crashing until I upped the voltage to 1062. It was mostly dx 11 games that crashed as well. I would try upping it alittle and see what happens. I doubt your hitting 90-100c and until you hit those temps you dont have to worry at all.

Yep, confirmed. 280.36 doesn't have this issue. Using them since they were posted. Perfect Driver.

    Windows XP 32-bit 270.61 = 21us DPC Latency.
    Windows XP 32-bit 280.26 = 63us DPC Latency.

Still very acceptable however it's tripled!

That's not a driver bug... its due to how the we've try to change the app to be more SLI friendly. They made a mistake and couldn't track down how in time.

That's due to a race condition. The driver and Windows both try to set color settings. Whoever writes to the shared color information in the OS last has their settings stick. There is functionality in the OS to make sure it's not a race condition but it is effectively broken, so a delay is used in the driver. If the delay before setting the color profile isn't high enough for your particular configuration you'll still end up with Windows overriding your Nvidia settings.

Your logic is major fail. If you screwed up more and had a worse performing driver to begin with, you obviously have more potential gains to make. It doesn't mean you're doing a better job, it means you did a worse job to start with and have more low hanging fruit.

Nvidia has also committed to making perf improvements that don't degrade IQ. That obviously limits how much performance you can squeeze out.

I get all kind of weird issues with my SLI'd 570's..

Odd gpu usage/scaling, custom fanspeeds don't work (afterburner), single GPU mode is more like 1.5 GPU mode..

ive had these problems with 280.26 and 280.36..
