Not Far Cry 2 1.0.2. friendly

Just to report that i've experienced really nasty graphic problem with these drivers.
I've installed Far Cry 2 1.02 patch and then, 181.00, the result being an awful type of flickering.
Unplayable and ugly. Anti-Aliasing related. If i turn it off it goes away.
Returned to GTA4 drivers and it disappeared. Waiting for next set of drivers.

Thank you very much for testing this. All of the 180 series drivers have caused the same shadow flickering for me with DX10 in LotRO and I'm hoping that NVidia will get around to fixing it at some point. Your post saved me the time and effort of downloading and installing this.

    Might try them

You win some and lose some it seems with each new driver. I tried 180.84 and got a miserable Vantage score of 19000 plus. Then went back to 180.60 and the best score yet for my set up of 23334.
    I'm running 260s in 3way SLI.

Yeah, because we all know quad cores are so much faster in so many games.

Is anyone else getting nv4_disp.dll crashes in Fallout 3 since the 180.xx series is out?

No matter what I try I always eventually get a "nv4_disp.dll has stopped working properly" error and then a BSOD follows about three seconds after and I must hard-reset (I configured Windows to not reboot automatically when a BSOD occurs so that I have the time to actually read the error report, and it always mentions nv4_disp.dll).

If it matters to mention I play with the default FALLOUT.ini, no tweaks, default in-game textures, no textures modifications added at all, and none of my 15+ other games have any problems whatsoever, in fact I played four hours in Crysis Wars yesterday without issues, and my 3DMark runs never fail nor crash, everything is fine, only Fallout 3 causes that problem. I also play with 4xMSAA and 16xAF, anyone else got that problem?

GTAIV is all i can think of -and we all know is very bad optimized. On the other nad cod5 with my e8400 at 3.0ghz with maximum settigs (1920x1200 maxed aax4) stutters like hell, at 3.6 or more it runs smoothly.

You can easily overclock the 45nm E0 DCs above 4GHz. (goes towards 4,5GHz)
You can't do that with QCs that easy. (goes towards 4GHz)

My E8400 isn't handpicked and does the 4,25GHz easily @aircooling and keeps absolutely cool. I think it beats lots of QCs in many games.

I'm just trying this driver because 180,84 showed some evil stuttering especially when using AA or AF, though it showed 60fps. Bad overall performance.
Lets see how this one will work. :)
