    Wrong...

Source engine (HL2, CSS, the episodes and the remake) run using D3D 7,8,9
Goldsource engine aka HL 1, CS1.6 etc can run using either D3D or opengl

And OpenGL 3 has only been support for the last few months, so there has been no games out currently using it. I mean DX10 has been out for a couple years and you don't see that many games using as a new standard.

    Here's why I don't like you:

    1. I never said "Source", so don't mention the Source games.
    2. It can run with OpenGL, so clearly I'm not wrong. Also, most people do run CS (again, not Source unless I say so) with OpenGL instead of D3D.

    kthxbye.

Exactly.. we dont said any Source...
CS 1.6\HL 1 runs OpenGL at default

    No.

In order to upgrade a games graphics system you'd need access to the source. Only a new game will be OpenGL 3.0 and to my knowledge only MAYA uses it.

I'm running Vista Ultamate 64 and can't figure out what setting to change to install unsigned drivers. Thanks in advance to someone for the help!
