Gears of War: Ultimate Edition PC Requirements

Look at these screens then tell me this game is worthy of those requirements:

And here I thought D12 was supposed to be more efficient, then you have games with "recommended specs" of Gears of War (A remastermind you) and Quantum Break

 

there wont be a windows 11 according to MS time will tell thought.

 

The only thing that looks like current gen are the cinematics and those are FMV this time around lol, I´d rather play it again on dx10 with true MSAA and super sampling.

 

So much for DX12 making requirements/recommend go spec go down eh?

 

I have not played Gears Of War before. I am going to give a try when this is available. I think it's great. You younger dudes need to cut the hipster crap and stop the negativity every time you open your mouths..

 

Ohhh Great, another AAA game (or app) that we can't SLI or Afterburn or Reshade or even run in fullscreen, just great... What's the point of being DX12 when we don't have the basics?
Hope Windows Store gets better or ceases to exist.

About the game itself, it was supposed to be the remastered trilogy, but the developers said it was too much hard work, =/ ... now we have the first one again. If only was the second one. Guess they didn't think about it until the 1. was done.

 

So wait, this is Windows ****e Store exclusive?! Damn this, this is worse than GFWL ever was...

 

I love GoW and it was one of my main reasons for owning a 360. GoW3 was the only game on that system I bought day 1 and did not regret it.

But being Win10 and Windows Store exclusive most likely means low player base in multiplayer since we won't get cross platform play. Why can't they have a Steam release as well like with the Halo Spartan games? Unless this somehow sells very well I will wait for a decent price drop or sale.

Yep pretty much.

Fury should be able to do 4k, but AMD has to get their drivers right to be able to compress the data to fit on 4GB, main reason i didn't bother with it, relies to much on drivers. Anyone else think the CPU requirements are a little over the top, min 6 core AMD CPU or i5 LOL and thats with just a GTX750/R7 260 which i would say will bottleneck long before the CPU.

 

FYI, this is a full remake from the ground-up, not a remaster.

 

Define what the difference is.

 

Remake, as in the Total Recall movie with Colin Farrel. Remaster like releasing a Blu-ray version of an older movie with better video quality and maybe better sound, like DTS-HD.
Gears of War to me looks like a remaster/remux.

 

and actually look great at higher resolution.
