Hey there, just interested what you elder gurus achieved when you were at school with your GCSEs and what GCSEs/A-Levels you achieved at College and/or University.

Oh and also how you took it, why did you pick the GCSE/A-Level - with what inspiration, did it help you at all - what was interesting with it, etc?

    Cheers,
    Sparx ;)

I can't remember my GCSEs, they were not brilliant though.

For A levels, I got A, B, B in Law, Politics and Computing, respectively.

Mid way through a BA in European Politics at the moment.

I got 6 A's, 3 B's and 3 C's in my GCSEs, and an A, B, and a D at A level. Can't for the life of me remember what subjects those were in though, it was a long time ago!

Then I did a BTEC in design in London, then a BA in graphics in Southampton. Then I got my sh!tty job which I still have now.

Not sure what grading system you guys are using...

I have an H1 Honours Applied Chemistry Degree (Distinction). Got a year and a half into a scholarshipped Ph.D before realising any more study was overkill.

EDIT: Fvck I love brag threads!!!

i was lucky (and smart) enough to go to Dartford Grammar School (same school Mr. Big Lips Mick Jagger attended in his youth - historical knowledge their)

Despite my lack luster performance, and complete disregard for class work / home work and the tendancy to have fun than to work, i still achieved

    7 A*'s
    6 A's
    Distinction in my International Baccalaureate..

All this and not ONCE have i ever need my qualification to attain a job.

In my opinion, in schools they should teach you about life skills, paying bills, taxes, social skills amongst many other things. Children (myself included) are simply not prepared for life after school, and its a very big reality shock.

Yeah, employers care very little aout GCSE's.

If you have A-levels, they just overlook your gcses, and the same goes if you have a degree with your A-levels.
