Try living in NZ, it's nearly $2 a litre here, which is around $7.60 /gallon. My Subaru Legacy (Liberty for Australia) does about 400 km's on $120 fill.
I know, my wife's Diamante does 14L per 100km around town, kind of expensive. But on the open its great, 700km to a tank, but then we don't go out of town enough to justify it anymore so it will be going and we'll have to downgrade to a smaller 4 cylinder car
Just remember guys, US went into iraq for the oil.... even thought it was $1.15 when the war started.
I dont know why you yanks are moaning. Were paying £1.08 a litre here, come into the real world, convert a gallon into a litre and then you'll see how much more we actually pay. You pay peanuts compared to what we pay so be happy with what you have. And for those talking about the oil crisis, the oil companies actually know about many vast untapped oil fields under the oceans which they have no plan to even tap into, because theyre reserving it for when the current oil fields run out so they can hold the world at ransom and charge whatever the **** they like. I **** you not!
