    Everyone,

    Which one?

    Asus Strix GL503VM 15.6" Gaming Laptop - 7th gen i5-7300HQ / GeForce® GTX 1060 3GB / 8GB of DDR4 RAM / 2TB HDD + 256GB SSD £759

    Or

    OMEN by HP 15-ce013na Gaming Laptop - i7 7700HQ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB 8GB Ram
    120 HZ Full HD Display.
    1TB Hardrive + 128GB SSD
    - £899

Is the extra £140 worth it for a increase in CPU and GPU memory?

Really need help with this one.

Absolutely the second one, the 1060 6gb isnt just more ram its more cores. It's like 10-20% faster

The RAM is low but blame the price fixing, its mad that 8 gb is being sold on gaming laptops even still

Also, last I checked, i5 mobile cpus are dual core and the i7 are quad so thats reason enough

In the end i went with the EVGA SC15 and my god it has set a very good standard.

All metal, the laptop is heavy, build quality is amazing.

    Specs are:
    • Intel Core i7-7700HQ Quad Core Processor
    • 15.6" Full HD IPS 120Hz Screen
    • Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    • 16GB DDR4 RAM
    • 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD + 1000GB HDD
    • Dedicated GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Graphics (full version ont the Q max)
    • Nvidia G-Sync & VR Ready
    • USB3 | HDMI 2.0 | Thunderbolt3 | Bluetooth
    • RGB Backlit Keyboard
    • EVGA 2 Year Warranty
Plays all the games i own at ultra settings full 1080p with no issues at all.

For £999.99 delivered i have found my dream gaming laptop. (for the money yes i know you can get better for more money etc).

Thanks for the help in the interim.
