If you use mouse and/or joystick along with a keyboard I dont think it matters what keyboard you have as long as it's 101 key... I have a Logitech Elite Keyboard.

Using one right now. Never using an "normal" keyboard again.

I am the 1 vote that uses it.

I like my Saitek gamers keyboard. Its a regular keyboard, but it lights up blue behind the keys, kinda nifty. The keyboard itself is really good quality too. I dont like the idea of a Z-Board, just because I dont want to have to switch back and forth between a regular keyboard for email, web, etc, and a zboard for gaming. Then again, i have to switch back and forth for my Logitech Momo racing steering wheel.... :/

You don't have to switch to do anything. I never use the windows keyset. I do everything with the gameset. It has all the keys + an extra q,w,e,r,t,a,s,d,z,x,c,v,b,g,ctrl, alt, tab,`,tilde, space bar keys for your right hand that you can configure as you wish. I reapeat there are two sets of these keys. One set is in the normal layout of keys for typing mesg while you play and the other for controlling the game, all on the game keyset. www.zboard.com

i like the z-board has a good solid feel, dont really use the gaming keyset though, as far as the regular keys go i think its 1 of the best i've tried.

Hmm, I havn't tried either of those, but I'd like to jump on the "I have a Logitech Elite keyboard" bandwagon. (wireless version!- omg, not wireless, wireless suxors!!!) Actually, I have two. A wired one at home and a wireless one in college.

Anyhow, my concern with the z-board is that it seems that it might be hard to type things when in games. This would be a major concern when considering that keyboard.

I quit using my keyboard for gaming a while back. I now only use my mouse along with a Belkin n52 Speedpad. It works great and is very comfortable IMO. But out of the two listed I voted for the Saitek
