It makes perfect sense. These drivers are meant for turing.

yeah, so good for turing they are leaking memory and causing rainbow effects in dx12 games :D

Didn't work for me in DX12 (DX11 did though) so I went back to the older drivers.

My English is not that great, but I don't understand your statement, please explain. Which "these" drivers are you referring to?

I believe he is referring to the original 435 series, and having issues, but the 436.xx ones are doing better for him.

Actually I think he's referring to when these drivers first came out with the forced install of gfe bug.

that makes more sense, but still is the same driver with gfe or not, gfe doesn't reduce system performance by any means unless you use the record fearture or freestyle.

I've seen a lot of weird behavior with these drivers from black ops 4, at first i thought low latency mode set to on fixed it, but actually, these drivers with black ops 4 does not like overclocking on my gpu anymore, so i had to forfeit my overclock and all (SEEMS) to be well now lol. It could be either the new drivers, or the new patch from august 20th for bops4.. who knows. i do not feel like reverting to previous drivers to test.

In War Thunder, my fps is two times lower - 30 instead of 60 ( that I had with 431.xx or any other previous drivers)?! Kill it on sight..

It's in my sig, MSI 970 gaming.

Edit, I run BFV future frame rendering on, (I am testing ultra lowlatency setting in global NVCP).
I run BFV with frame cap to 61 with no Vsync. That gives me a steady 60 fps, flat line (meaning I cap to lowest fps).

Those settings "feel" best to me on my old HW (i5-3570k@4.6).

I find BFx series is more stable and runs smoother with a frame cap.

nice card! thx for the tip :)

okay i run mine at DX12 4k and FFR Off in NV control panel
it only happens when loading a new map things freeze and CPU going highwire 100%
then it happens, Getting CTD in game, i restart and everything is fine! fps is around 60s

the driver feels a lot better than previous driver / drivers
So its hard to really pin point the cause!

the invisible cursor during recording whit Experience
seems to be a bug whit the latest update!
according to ppl on Nvidia forums

    EDIT: That's not a URL.

    EDIT: Fixed.

EDIT: PDF quotes. I don't know if the full driver page is up yet but once it is a new thread can begin as per usual routine.

    Fixed issues:

Driver itself should start appearing now as well if the full page isn't already available.

    I forgot a very important reason too I frame cap and that is CPU%, I see even high-end 8700k/9900k's hitting CPU% 100.
When that happens for me the game is not playable/enjoyable, after about mid 90's my mouse acts up and things aren't smooth.
Frame cap solves this, will also help for stability too IMO.
