What games do you recommend people to play
or have made a great impact on you?

Over the time I have played many great titles and series, some that stick out are The Elder Scrolls Series, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid. Then there were in no particular order; The Last of US, The Dig (old 90s Lucas Arts game), Portal, Dark Souls, Baldurs Gate (Series), BioShock, Metro, Battlefield, CoD, Max Payne, StarCraft, Civilization, FallOut, Crysis, GTA, Watch Dogs, Half Life, C&C, Heavy Rain, Black and White, Quake, DOOM...

Take this example from Ghost, its a typical example of how games developed into high tempo and I had a lot of fun with this on http://youtu.be/A98l4WRj8UI
    Anyone you like?

    Best Games of my life:

    • Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (first competitive experience, member of a Clan etc.., early competitive scene)

    • Gran Turismo 1&2

    • GTA 1&2

    • FFX

    • StarWars Jedi Knights II: Jedi Outcast

    • Knight of the old Republic (KOTOR) serie

    • Command and Conquer serie (Red Alert 2/Generals)

    • Mass Effect 1 and NOT 2&3 which are Console friendly commercial exploitation even if the story-telling is there, they're less novative than the 1: customization of weapons/armor are gone, skills are simplified, Citadel is smaller and gameplay more Linear

    • Battlefield serie (1942/Desert Combat mod/Bad Company2/BF2/3/4.. 2142 & both Vietnam add-ons are letdown to me)

Those are really the games that defined my whole gaming world, and made me the gamer i'm today.

My all time fav game is Resident Evil 1 (REMAKE on Gamecube) it still holds up today, has some of the best pre rendered back grounds, and the lighting, sound, and atmosphere were epic! I loved the original on PS1 but when I saw the remake on GC my jaw literally hit the floor with how good it looked.

Playing it to this day, I also have it on PC on the dolphin emulator running at 4XNative resolution displaying at 1080p with 16xAF enabled and it plays 60fps all the time and looks stunning!

Other games that have had an impact on me are in NO PARTICULAR ORDER

    - BioShock Infinite

Mainly for its story, the ending is probably one of the best game ending I have ever seen. It was full of twists, turns, and I didn't see it coming at all!

    - Outlast + DLC

Without a doubt the best horror game I have played in the past ten years easily. It destroys any horror film released in the past twenty years. It has the best graphics, lighting, atmosphere, enemies, a simple plot and it was made by SEVEN people!

    - Half Life 1+2+Episodes

Simply one of the best fps games ever made, period!

    - Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past

I was around 4 years old when I first played this game and it took me three years to complete it! No game guides or game genies. Loved it, I have since 100% completed it around twenty times. Best Zelda game ever made.

Just about to start on this. The gamecube has to be the most underrated system of all time imo. Just finished Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes by Silicon Knights. A new fav game to add to my list of digital adventures. Utter brillance and its how a port should be done.
