Games you are excited for in 2022

So what are the games that are you most excited for in 2022.
There's plenty of announcements of promising games, so unless we get a ton of GTA Trilogys and BF 2042, 2022 might be a good year for games.
So list some of the games you are interested in for next year.

Here's a list, to remind of some of those potential choices.

Starfield for me, still know so little about it, apparently it will be using procedural generation to some extent, if what I have read is correct... and then if video cards become affordable then Stalker 2 will be cool.

New years resolution.. no more pre-order.. fool me once.. shame on you.. fool me twice.. shame on you.. fool me every single time.. shame still on you but really I'm an idiot and no more pre-order.

This might be the first year ever where the list of my anticipated games is completely empty. Either games are now so bad that I'm not looking forward to any of them, or they're the same but I have changed. Maybe it's both.

For the past few months, I've been exclusively playing through games made in the 90s. These old games seem so... honest. No incomplete "base games." They're full games, no DLC required. No patronizing, woke political messages. No "micro" transactions. No overdone hand holding. No quest markers, blinking arrows and icons on the screen that assume you have never played a video game before in your life. No "you're awesome!" messages when you suck at the game. Instead, if you suck, you need to get better. No bland script that has been written by committee and produced in a way as to be as politically correct as possible. And now there's all this talk about "NFTs"...

If modern games continue the way they are now, I think I might be completely done with modern games from now on :-/ On the bright side, the list of games I always wanted to play but never got around to goes back to the 90s, so I'm actually set for life. There's not gonna be any shortage of good games for me.

 

I think 2022 will be pretty exiting in terms of gaming overall. Many highly anticipated game sequels, new ips and new gpus from Intel. You seem you lost your mojo, maybe its time to find a new hobby.

 

Not many games, dying light and stalker 2 mainly, could be the next best thing from a first person shooter point of view, since graphical fidelity is expected to be insane in that game

This is my main list but i hope to be surprised by other games i´m unaware.

 

I don't know, Dying Light 2, BG3 in it's entirety, The next Vampire game.... maybe Atomic Heart, maybe Stalker 2.
But with the obvious lack in games I'm curious about, I wonder, why should I buy new PC hardware?

I still have massive backlog and I also play a lot of older games (EU4, Warframe, Mordhau, etc.), so even if none of the releases pans out, I have things to play. However, I'm looking forward to
