This is something that has been bothering me alot these days.

This never happens to any of my buddy's rigs, only in mine.
If games run at constant 60fps everything is fine, but if they fall to 30-50's it stutters so bad it's almost unplayable.
Can this be a dvi/monitor problem? Because when i record my gameplay it looks flawless but when i'm actually playing it, it feels choppy and i can barely aim with my mouse because it feels like it skips for a fraction of a second.

this sometimes gets fixed in some games if using v sync and triple buffering(batman arkham asylum and mirror's edge are super smooth)

Maybe you should lower the image quality and rebalance FPS w/ image quality, then that should fix the problem.
