Can anyone help I have a Radeon DDR 64MB (my machine specs r below)my old P3 300MHZ, Voodoo 3 PCI runs Unreal with latest driver update stupidly fast at 1024 x 768 but my Athlon 1.2 with Radeon slows down when lighting effects r turned on, also to get a decent frame rate I have to run at 640 x 480, I have all the latest drivers and stuff but i can't work out why Unreal Tournament runs amazingly fast at 1280 x 1024 with EVERYTHING on but Unreal doesn't, any suggestions?, Half Life runs fast but jerky also, Rouge Spear - forget it! Quake 3 amazing at 1280 x 1024 (60 fps with everything on full, weired huh!)
2. You could install via 4 in 1 for your motherboard (i suggest 429) and i could also install win98 insted of win2000 because ati's driver is really bad for win98 (big performance hit) and last with your old voodoo 3 card you could use glide (the best atp ever best performance stablity and image quality) and that you can't with the radeon.
Hobe is helps

First of all trust the bios temp. Secondly you're using d3d aren't you? Try open gl.
