Your missing out, it is more medieval Machiavellian type show.
Awesome finale. Dragons sucking on a tit.
great season finale
yep, still a bit sad that
Drogo dies for good. I haven't read the books yet, so maybe there's more to it.
This show is really shaping up to be something special. At first I was rather "meh" about the show; but wow, it has turned into something great.
yeah he is dead for good (i havent read the books but) as you understand the show the "witch" taught dany that you must pay life for life. the horse, the witch, and drago lives in exchange to hatch the dragons. so yeah he is dead, burned in the ashes.
Now there is nothing good to watch on TV . The next season of GOT doesn't start till spring 2012, and Spartacus doesn't start till the beginning on next year.
Its like this picture, but for longer.
On a side note I got in SWOR beta...
Breaking Bad starts in 2 weeks
I've read the books and yeah, he's dead for good. He didnt reincarnate or anything on dragons, at least books dont say anything bout it (or i dont remember it), he's just dead and gone xP.
Also it would be the kid, not the horse xP.
But still, as supossed after seeing dragons (and reading books), daeneris has still a lot to do on this story.
read somewhere that she ends up being called dragon mother or something to that effect and after it was sucking on her tit it is totally apt!
yeah of course, i mean she'll have more things to do than dragons (which are already a big thing )
That was a good season finale. It's gonna be a hell of a wait to the next season.
I'm very glad that Emilia Clarke (the actress that plays Daenerys) is so comfortable getting naked on camera. She's accumulated like 10 minutes of naked airtime by now
I must read the books now, cant wait until next spring for more
Episode 1- The winter is coming. Get ready.
Episode 10- The winter is coming.
Where is the ****ing winter?
All you took from those 10 episodes where "Where is the ****ing winter?" If so, then all I've got to say is what a shame.
Loved it. The second season can't come soon enough!
Of course not. I mean the story is proceeding too slowly. don t be offensive.
Lol, I wasn't being offensive, merely stating a point.
Well, specifically regarding winter--winter only comes like once every decade on Westeros, and they are nearing the end of the summer. The summer they are in was one of the longest, so they are predicting a particularly long and harsh winter. Given that season 1 closes with the Night's Watch riding north, I think that foreshadows the winter coming in season 2.
As for the rest of the story, in 10 episodes they've established the entire political system of the region, the temperament of the houses, killed a king, established a new one, began a war, killed a main character, established a new throne that split the kingdoms, and so on.
I suspect I know why it feels like the overarching plot isn't moving forward, and that's because they have to take the time every episode to elaborate on the personal stories of 6+ characters. Given that there are only 10 1-hour-long episodes per season, it's understandable why it could feel like not a lot gets done.
