Can't wait to see Mance Rayder... Ciaran Hinds is an excellent actor.

Valhalla rising good movie, very dark, I found the rape scene disturbing though

I'm looking forward to it myself, I've read the books but the tv series is absolutely fantastic. Probably the best fantasy novel > tv/movie translation I've seen. I'm hoping season three will alleviate the nightmares I've had over The Hobbit.

LOL  that's funny. but arya is really more attractive than sansa (not because of her age :p)

Is GRRM heavily involved with Season 3?

can't wait, this is a nice present for my bday this coming 28th!! yeahhh!

I'm not sure how much involvement he has in the third season, I'd imagine it's ongoing however. At least I hope so. Joking aside, I love Arya myself - probably my favourite character in the Tv series. Maisie Williams is a brilliant little actress.

yeah, her character is much more interesting for me than Sansa's. Sansa is just being the typical teenage bitch of today. I'm even more intrigued on the story of that 'northern' girl who helped bran escape, than watching Sansa throw someone under the bus just to get close to the gay king. Arya and Tyrion are probably my favourites too.

I dislike Sansa myself, but not because of her actress. It's due to the character, which is a good thing in so many respects. Granted I don't find her paticularly attractive, but she plays the role well. I'd say the same for Joffrey, hate the character but for the right reasons. He'd have made an incredible Malfoy in the HP movies. It's such a multifaceted story, which is a large part of why it's so good. That said - yeah, I have a soft spot for Arya and her story.

well, of course, i'm also talking about the characters and not the actresses/actors who plays them. Just the same, although i dislike some characters, they all (actors/actresses) play their parts very very well.

Man, i still remember when Tyrion slapped the soul out of Joffrey. That was a LOL moment for me.

Haha, I remember that Tyrion scene. It was fantastic.

I wonder how the reaction would have been if they had remained closer to the source for his facial injury, though? In the books he was pretty badly disfigured if my memory serves. Another fantastic character with a great actor.

PS: Of course I knew you were talking about the chars' rather than the actors =p I just thought it best to clarify from a personal sense considering its such a stellar cast.

What made me laugh was that Joffrey 'moaned' a little when Tyrion slapped him. Haha. Another really great HBO series. :) I really can't wait for the war in Season 3!

PS: btw, Cersei has a new movie coming up soon, Mortal Instruments. It's another novel based movie. it would be out at around the same time as The Host", another Twilight-esque movie i suppose (im sorry, I'm passionately biased against Twilight :( ).

Ergh. I don't want to hear about anymore Twilight crap :p My neices are into the series. I tried reading the first book when they were visiting but put it down within a few paragraphs. Some of the worst writing I've ever had the displeasure to read.
