well does your current 460 do want you want it to? If this then no it is not.

if you want to add more AA or play at higher resolutions then the extra memory would be a nice addition, other than this it would be stupid to upgrade. When ATI's HD7000 series is right round the corner, and is "rumoured" to be quite something as they are based on new architecture. So if they perform well then you would see a nice price drop in current gen cards :)

Idk i would go with TI version..

Or maybe wait to see if they're gonna make a 2.5gb edition of 560TI 448core (rls date: 29.11.11)

yep, ill go with Hunter on this one..its NOT WORTH it to change to an gtx560 now..if , ethn a TI edition or just wait till end of teh year, when maybe new one comes or others get more cheap..like an gtx570...that would be an better update...

i gotta say, im still fine with my gtx460...

dont think that card has enough memory bandwidth to use 2gb, its just an oc 460

The card will have no problem populating 2GB of vram.....nor will it actually have a problem using the data stored in memory. However, it may be rather inefficient in doing so....

Yes as last two posters pointed out, the card's lacking on the memory bandwidth front so even in sli it's not going to be able to make effecient or effective use of the extra memory.

Overclockers has got a MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card for £200.

I was also wondering if it was worth it
