Do You use Nexus Mod Manager? If yes there is an option to reset archive invalidation. You schould do it.

I am only using 2k texture mod.
Is there any compatibility problems with it? or with the dlc's?

Yes 1.8 adds the underlying code required for the DLC.
(Dragon behavior, interface and icon updates and probably some other stuff.)

I'm sure that some modder will take that and enhance it to look better. :)

I think it's used partially in Dawnguard but I've not verified this or if it's just a simpler method in those few locations.

Here with these waves it seems to be something similar, maybe a overlay model with some shader code to simulate proper displacement, which explains why the water just a short distance away is completely still as normal.
(It's a shame they didn't just update the water shaders in patch 1.8 and added it globally to the entire game but I guess the performance tradeoff wasn't worth it so instead we have this solution which hopefully can be expanded by modding in the PC version instead of as now just used in some few locations near Solstheim itself.)

I want my jumping boots from Morrowind~

One jump and you don't know where you would land!!!

That would be so cool in Skyrim.

    xD

    The boots of the apostle?
    (Levitation and some other bonuses.)

There was also the boots of blinding speed with a 90% blind effect and a +50 or what it was to the speed attribute.
