    There is a bug with the game where random mob can one shot you no matter what your stat is. For example, I had a character with armor cap and 400 hp. Got one shotted by this random ass bandit. Reloaded, and somehow he can't even scratch me.

    Does not look like a very good texture mod, just some sharpening or perlin noise added.

    ^That's one of the best mods and probably the most popular along with skyrim HD. It's definately not just sharpened :)

    also, if people already using vurts flora overhaul want a little more variation to trees they could try this complementing mod.

    Yeah, some of the leaf work is good, but that bark texture is not good imo, changed it from average to a different average for no reason.

    edit, that one vastly improves the trees blackzero

    yeah those trees look rather good. i noticed those white shrooms are changed, is he using vurts or does that mod also change other textures?

    edit:nevermind looks like its part of the tree.

    The official HD Pack uses more than the 2K HD Pack Lite.

    I will be going back to the official HD Pack tho, but not untill i get a 4GB GTX 680.

    Just something i want to add with the TreesHD Variation that BlackZero posted.

    If you got Vurts Flora Overhaul installed there is a couple of files you got to say "No" to when installing it.

    The First 2 Files are not Bark Textures and change the leaf textures of the Big Pine Trees to very dark and make them pop out of the rest of them.

    After that it will ask you to overwrite a couple of Bark files which you can notice because they got the word "Bark" in them.

    Then the last 3 files also arn't related to Barks and shouldn't be overwriten either.

    Just to add to the above.

    here's what the author has to say:

    and here's how the two mods interact, these being the latest versions of both mods.

    [IMG]

    You'll notice in the 'conflicts' section of the wrye bash image, I have a highlighted section where there's 5 bark textures (all paired with a normal map) and two pine textures which are labled 'vurts_pine'. The latter are supposed to be the same as the ones included in vurts (maybe historical) and the others are all 'bark' textures and labled as such. The pine, as noted, maybe historical and really not of importance anyway as they are suposed to be the same as vurts so can be treated wth discretion, but it's the ones labled 'bark' that are important and need to be overwritten for the variation.

    Now when you say there's 3 more that are not bark at all I would assume you are refering to

    Meshes\Landscape\Trees\treepineforest01.nif
    Meshes\Landscape\Trees\treepineforest02.nif
    Meshes\Landscape\Trees\treepineforest04.nif

    These are mesh files and are not part of vurts but instead come with 'Lush Trees'. The mod takes this into account as mentioned in the heading so I just give the mod priority over lush trees as well.

    Made some comparison Screenshots. I hope the On and Off makes sense with the stripe through the text :)

    Going by those images the *.nif files seem to be quite random with heavy/light variations of tree branches in both striked/non-striked versions (off and on?) this can be seen when comparing the first and fourth image. I do however prefer the lighter pine trees.

    Refreshing the ini file as I usually do for each update revealed the following commands.

    fVATSCastingAfterKillDelay=1.2000
    uVATSRangedPercentSneak=33
    uVATSRangedPercentGlobal=50
    bVATSIgnoreProjectileTest=0
    bVATSAllowNoKill=0
    bVATSMultipleCombatants=0
    bVATSForceRanged=0
    (Under [VATS] Skyrim.ini)

    - Shadows on grass available (PC)

    Well that's a lie, i made a screenshot with 1.5 Beta and Live 1.4 and the Grass looks 100% the same.

    Also just tested it without any Flora Texture addons between 1.5 and 1.4 and it makes no difference.

    Changing bTreesRecieveShadows from 0 to 1 gives the same result, grass do NOT have shadows.

    Strange, i didn't get these. And i did reconfig thru the launcher. I guess 1.5 doesn't work properly for me then, seeing i aint got Grass Shadows either.

    I hope this update fixes the constant loading even when loading indoor saves, introduced in last update before that it was only when loading in open areas with lots of texture mods.

    Can you check your ini file BlackZero, zee if it also got the changes that been writen above.

    Aswell as the Grass Shadows.

    I even completely deleted the INI files so the launcher could write new ones.

    Didn't make a difference.
