Funny, for me it was the opposite Apex ran perfectly and FH3 didn't. But it's been a while since I did the testing.
In-game vsync OFF, control panel vsync ON. The game should think it runs without vsync (because that's the whole point of g-sync.) Usually it's OK to use in-game vsync ON, but not always.
